We tried a little of everything last week. Food was amazing! Staff friendly, and a little kid helping serve the table was adorable.

Our group stopped in for lunch based on a recommendation of a coworker since we are out-of-towners. Overall, we had a great experience and the food was delicious. Service was friendly, fast, and accommodating!

We opted to share some pizzas and some appetizers. These items were fire roasted in their oven, which you can see as soon as you walk in. Wing options are limited, but they are delicious. The BBQ wing sauce is drizzled over instead of the wings being tossed, due to how the wings are cooked (they may stick slightly tk the pan). Pizza crust was nice and toasted; some parts crunchy and some chewy for the normal thickness crust. The toppings did slide a bit, but it was unquestionable that the pizza was hot and fresh, so some sliding is expected. Delicious flavor and they don't skimp on the quality of their ingredients.

For the lunch price, prices were very reasonable, especially when it's "family style" sharing.

    Would recommend it to anyone!

A great locally owned and operated restaurant. Friendly service with sometimes a love band/music. The outdoor area makes for a perfect afternoon dinner and sunset.
The prices were fair and the pizza…..delicious!
Let me say this is place is close to it. The crust had some nice charring on it giving it a little crunch all while the inside of the dough still soft. Not sure what cheese was used but it paired perfectly with the crust. We visited from what seemed like the owners birthday. Watching her interact with her guests gave the impression that she is a loved person in this community. This is a unique place to visit and a great place for dinner. Definitely a must visit if you’re close by. Dont take my word for it…go visit this place and support locally owned businesses!!

We LOVED this place. We dropped in for a birthday lunch and found a beautiful, inviting bistro with an incredibly impressive pavilion outside. The owner was attentive, friendly and hilarious. We felt like we walked right into a family — one that could COOK! We absolutely had to try the pizzas after spying them a table away, and the chicken pesto was to die for. The broccoli cheddar soup and Monte Cristo croissant were fantastic! The portions were excellent and everything was fresh and obviously made with love. We want to come back for fish and chips and to check out the live music! Hidden gem in Freeport, so glad we stopped in.

TLDR: There may be more than one restaurant on site, which we found confusing. We did enjoy our meal at Hamilton's Bistro. It is a small menu, but tasty.

We had looked up Horse Power Pavillion online, and the menu we saw at the Bistro did not match the one online. However, I think there are more restaurants onsite, or possibly planned for the future. The menu was smaller than we anticipated.

The Bistro is cute and comfortable. We went for a late lunch, and it was pretty slow. We ordered an appetizer of Meatballs, spaghetti bolongnese, and a cheese pizza. Portions are generous, and the meatballs were my favorite. My husband and I did enjoy our main dishes. It does not appear they have fountain sodas, we received bottles/cans of soda and a glass of ice (which worked for us). Our food came out quickly and piping hot.

I do recommend, as long as you view the Bistro menu ahead of time (if that's how you roll). The venue itself (Horse Power Pavillion) hosts live music, which we plan to check out in the future.
