Very satisfied with my first visit. Went on a Saturday. About a 20 minute wait which is expected for any decent restaurant on a Saturday. Food was phenomenal. We were seated outside but they had it well heated so atmosphere was comfortable. Waiter was attentive and made sure our needs were met. We ordered the jalapeño hush puppies.
I got the salmon and salad. Hubby got the drunken mussels. The lighting was dimmed so these pictures don’t do it justice. Will be going back. Hope this place stays!

Excellent atmosphere very nice workers. Daniel was great. We got a dozen oysters they were very fresh. Catfish was very crispy and delicious. I loved the fries. The poke bowl was very good and lots of variety in the plate. The fusion in your mouth is very good. 100% recommend if you wanna try something different. I’m hooked!

My wife and I stopped in the Seaside Oyster Bar in Bethlehem for lunch. The atmosphere and decor were great. We were seated right away. Our server was Juan, he was very helpful and answered our questions about the menu. My wife ordered the Lobster Bisque. She said it was amazing. The Glazed Salmon that I got was a great looking dish and tasted incredible. We were thrilled with the entire experience.

5 star rating! Everything we ordered was superb! Order the croissants with warm butter (OMG and thank me later)! I ordered the steak (I'm always curious) it was beyond tender and marinated to perfection! One suggestion although this steak was perfect and most probably wouldn't need steak sauce (it was disappointing to know that they didn't offer any type of steak sauce none in the restaurant) just have a couple A1 or Heinz 57 on deck, or have barbecue sauce on hand at a minimum. My husband got fish and loved every bite. Even the side salad was super fresh all green and veggies Diced with care. Everyone was smiling and cheerful at this location. I can't wait to return again!

Seaside Oyster Bar is several hundred miles from the nearest Seaside location, but it could easily be picked up and moved to any beach town and fit right in.
It’s a point of humor that they used the Acronym SOB in their logo and marketing, but after eating there I can say that, “That SOB is a darn good seafood restaurant!”
The ambiance puts it nicer than your run of the mill Fish Shack, and just below fine dining. A normal bar and grille atmosphere that’s classy, not junky.
We started with the Ahi Tuna Nachos that were incredibly tasty.
My wife had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl with more fish than we’d ever seen in a similar entree. It was very good and she couldn’t even finish it all, the portions were so generous.
I had my perennial favorite, Fish and Grits. I’ve eaten variations of this at dozens of restaurants from New Orleans to Wrightsville Beach to Miami. I had the Blackened Shrimp with SOB sauce. This was wonderful, and easily beats a majority of the offerings from higher priced locations. The SOB menu gives you choices of 3 different fish and 4 sauces, so I could eat 12 iterations of the same menu item. I plan to try them all.
A cute curiosity was the privately labeled hot sauce that is bottled in an eye dropper. It’s not terribly hot, and it’s very imaginative.
Overall we are extremely pleased with SOB and will be adding it to our restaurant rotation.
