“There was a 15-20 minute wait, but it was so worth it. The ambience (lowlighting from the beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright inspired fixtures and soft jazz) was perfect. Our booth was spacious, and it easily accommodated us and another couple. Now for the food: delicious and unique. Our server was attentive and determined to give us no less than a wonderful experience. Cannot wait to dine here again.”

“I haven't had the subs but I can say the tacos are some of my favorite in town. They get busy at lunch and there isn't alot of parking outside. This is a mom and pop type place so the staff is eclectic and the atmosphere has a unique down town feel. You order the food standing at a counter food truck style and someone brings it to your table. With a little more attention to detail of maintenance and cleanliness I would give 5 stars”

I ordered the 8 ounce tenderloin steak and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly and sliced which I loved and appreciated. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town.”

“A group of friends and I meet once a month for lunch and have a girls day out. We treat ourselves ' royally' and so did Grand Oaks. We ate in the Rose Room that was set for just us, the food was beyond fabulous and the service was impeccable...not to mention the owner visiting us several times, what a delightful and interesting person Mr. Thacker is. The perfect host, giving us a tour of this gorgeous home after lunch. It goes without saying, we will be returning many times to come. They have a catch of the day which had 8 different types of fish so you could come once a day and still have a type of fish you haven't tried. Their mixed drinks were also delightful. “Although I was only on the inside for a moment it was just the right amount of darkness. The outside seating is a must. If you can get under the greenery, do it! Try the Shiloh cocktail! It really hit the spot. All the apps were excellent, seafood dip, chicken livers and cheese curds. Grilled chicken tenders were so flavorful. The cabbage tasted like home cookin'. Definitely try the sweet potato puffs! I was pleasantly surprised by these. The wait staff was impeccable!!”

“We live less than a mile from here and drove by every day, always skeptical about if this restaurant was good... The Choriqueso was amazing. The raspberry margaritas were delicious and had just the right amount of tequila. Our entrees came out quickly and were SO good. The loco rice is unique and tasty. I would recommend Los Arcos to anyone looking for amazing Mexican food!”
