“Love, love, love Francar's....you can't beat the wings. We order often for pick up, and the food is always right, hot, and made to order. Mercer Gold is our favorite...but so many of them are great...try a few. But make sure the Mercer Gold is one you try. Fried okra is always fantastic. Burgers - also super. The cakes are excellent, as well. I just love this place...my favorite wings anywhere, hands down, period - and wings are just about my favorite thing, so it's saying something that these are my favorite. Ordered a bunch of wings tonight and it's the happiest I've been during Covid-19 while staying at home. Can't wait til they get here! Not to mention, she was super nice - as always - when I called. I ate here on a Friday night and noticed it gets really crowded - seems to be popular with the college students who live close by. “I came in about a hour before close. Service was friendly and fast, and the lady at the register joked that she had quality checked the chocolate chip and pecan cookies many times cause I picked three up. I explained how a customer at my work had told me about the place so I finally decided to give them a try. She told me that was awesome and that she really hoped we enjoyed it. It was amazing. The vegetables aren’t from a can. I was lucky and got there just as fried chicken was coming out of the grease. My mom and brother were very happy with what they received. In my opinion best home cooking in Macon. Would definitely recommend to eat there!”

My son and I tried this restaurant out on a recommendation. My son decided to try the blacken alligator and it was delicious!! He also tried the calamari and it was the best we've ever had! They were sold out of most of their chicken salad by the time we got here this afternoon, but the Apple Turkey sandwich is well-balanced and I love the wheat bread. My momma enjoyed the tuna salad on a croissant - and she even shared a bite! So good! The tuna salad is creamy and bright, and the croissant is buttery and light. I think this may be the closest thing to Harpin's in Macon now, and that was my go-to cafe all the years they were open. ”

“I absolutely love this place. It has a little unassuming storefront at the farmer's market on Eisenhower. A little hard to find if you don't really know where you're going. They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays and close before dinner time the rest of the days. Google has their hours listed correctly. They have different menus depending on the day. I have yet to try anything that I didn't like. Be mindful that they cook everything to order so there will be a wait but it is so worth it, especially if you're vegan, vegetarian, or just like doing a meatless day here or there. Their cupcakes and cookies are SO good. If you call, they can do special and larger orders. Saw today that they've begun having open mic nights once a month as well. The owner is super friendly and knows what she's talking about food/health-wise. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.”

“Friday night seafood night at Golden Corral. Nice thought and not so nice price. Wouldn't be half a frown if there was more seafood on the buffet and it wasn't overcooked and the oil needed to be changed. The salad bar was phenomenal. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. Now our waitress and the cashier was beyond friendly. They made you feel at home. The cashier I didn't get her name and I wish I had and our waitress Michelle they deserve a raise. Great job!
