“In terms of the experience, Fresh Air is a ways off the beaten track and feels like a lodge in the country. That to me would be the most unique part of visiting. The menu is quite limited. I have no problem with restaurants that specialize in one dish and do that dish superbly. However, Fresh Air serves only one type of meat - a pulled/shredded pork - and that was average at best. The meat didn't have a strong flavor of smoke and it wasn't particularly seasoned. The sauce is a strongly vinegar-based one and I overheard several people comment on it being too "vinegary." The Brunswick Stew was nice enough and the brownies were good. All in all I was a little surprised to see signs and shirts calling this the "best BBQ in Georgia." Perhaps at one time, but the menu is far too limited and there are just so many good BBQ options to say that today. I have travelled extensively eating BBQ throughout the South and I wouldn't be able to recommend it.”

“Great local restaurant with hearty delicious food at a reasonable price. This appears to be a local favorite for good reason. We arrived a few minutes after they finished serving breakfast (10:30am) and they were very accommodating to our breakfast craving. Food was excellent and very fresh. The grits were some of the best I’ve tasted. You can have an excellent breakfast for $6-8. Lunch buffet start at around $7-8 and include vegetable, cornbread and a drink. Parking was adequate.”

“I hadn't seen a Pizza hut buffet in forever.... This Pizza Hut is awesome. The staff is just incredible. They really made you feel like family.... As I say with all buffets: Come hungry and ready to eat. The food was nice and hot, and there was a great selection to choose from. They have a salad bar and they have dessert to choose from. Best service I've ever experienced.......”

“The fries were fresh; however, they were overcooked and way too salty (almost like the lid fell off). The burger was good though. I do wish they would put a little more ketchup and mustard on the burger as it seems they have cut back to where it is just a dab of each. The service was pretty quick, even with several cars in the drive thru, and the young lady working the drive thru was friendly and courteous.”

“Such a quaint, cozy atmosphere. Lucky's is in an old home with lots of charm and character. Five of us had dinner and all of our meals were great. I had the Cajun Scampi, my wife had the steak and mushroom ravioli and both dishes were great. If you find yourself near Jackson Ga I would recommend you visit Lucky's! The food and staff are great!”

“The pizza was fantastic. I picked up to-go that my wife called in, and everything was spot on. We were staying with a friend at the lake, so we got some garlic knots and meatballs as well. Everything was scrumptious. I got to watch the pizza makers roll the dough and utilize the brick oven while I waited and was very impressed by it all. I can't speak at all for the dine in experience, but the food was great.”

“We wanted to find a "in the middle of nowhere" BBQ and ended up trying Blind Pig BBQ. Small paved parking lot with plenty of grass parking next to it. Walked in, greeted by someone at the ordering window and to the left was a trough of roasted peanuts. The BBQ already smells amazing! Simple menu with all the favorites. I loved the home fries. They were out of stew, it's popular, so another trip is in the future.”
