“My husband and I went here last week and we were pleasantly surprised! The interior has an awesome vibe, with a ton of submarine decor. Everywhere you look is another interesting piece of memorabilia. We ordered the herb cheese dip, the onion ring burger, and the XXX burger. The dip was a bit unusual, but pretty good. It said it is served with pita but ours came with a very crunchy French bread. Would not order it again; it was $14 and not really worth it at that price point. The burgers though were delicious! Everything tasted fresh. Happy Hour is from 11-5 and $2.50 for a decent size draft pour of craft beer is really great value. The bill was a bit of a surprise however, I think the food is a bit overpriced. Despite that, the food, service and atmosphere left us happy and wanting to return. Great local addition to our area.”

“My Wife and I stay at the Spencer house for our honeymoon 2 years ago at that time a nice breakfast was prepared and served to us by the owners in 2020. Fast forward to July 2023 new owners of the Spencer house fall way short of the breakfast in the past. All you get is eggs and that is all, but they want to go to their restaurant down the road where they can up charge you more. I guess the 200 dollar plus room per night you paid isn’t enough. Very disappointing don’t see this place lasting long with new owners”

“What can’t I say about this place? Veteran owned. Cool chalk artwork leading in. Cozy country feel for inside dining. Girl behind the counter so friendly and made great suggestions on sandwich bread; so many options to choose from. Even the chef came out to check our order before it was fully placed. Now onto the food. We got the breakfast burrito, bacon egg and cheese on garlic sour dough, cheese crostata, and a classic glazed donut. Not one thing was wrong with any of them. Food came out hot and fresh. Chipotle Mayo whipped in back for the burrito. And the serving size for the price was on point. If you haven’t eaten here, go. Now. Breakfast all day. Get the burrito. You won’t regret it.”

“This was our second visit, for early dinner this time. Food was very good, but not quite like first visit. Our server was prompt and attentive, but the kitchen seemed to be off. We ordered Thai Dumplings (yum!) and then expressed to server we wanted a pause to space out the courses. For entree I ordered Pad Thai with roast park, and spouse some sushi rolls with seaweed salad. After a bit, the server returns to say they were out of seaweed salad...OK, add another sushi roll. Then again she returned to say out of roast pork...OK, substitute grilled chicken. The kitchen should have let her know of any shortages beforehand so we would have known when provided menus. After a long wait, server came to check if we had gotten our appetizer yet, and shortly thereafter it arrived. But then the Pad Thai came along before we finished the appetizer (exactly what we wanted to avoid!). Then ~10 minutes go by before the sushi was delivered. Clearly, the kitchen should have at least ensured the entrees arrived nearly together, firing the hot dish after the cold one was ready. Also, the grilled chicken was not sliced through so had to tear it apart with fingers. We left satisfied but there are details that need to be worked on the improve customer service.”

“Pretty good for fast food seafood! We drove through for dinner and had the chicken strips and fish, and the fish and shrimp combos and they were both really good! The portions were really big! The line was pretty long to place the order but once we ordered our meals came out quick. I would definitely recommend it! A lot of the reviews were pretty harsh for no reason, give it a shot. Keep your expectations where they should be for a $9 fast food seafood plate and you won’t be disappointed!”

“I got there pretty late, service was great and the hibachi chef put on a show even tho I was the only one. I had the hibachi chicken and steak, only complaint was there was a lot of fat on steak usually it's cut out. I ordered the rock and roll sushi and it was delicious! “Fast and delicious! I always find that ordering from the Papa Johns app is extremely easy and convenient. There is also a large selection of menu items to choose from. I love the different menu “specials” that are offered. I can always count on there being a fantastic value! At other Papa John’s locations, the pizza has arrived over cooked and not to our satisfaction. However, at the St.Marys/Kingsland location our pizzas have always been delivered and cooked to perfection!!!!”
