This place is incredible. Very high end to include all things from atmosphere to everything that comes to the table. The chef is outstanding and well worth the prices. We enjoyed a flight of wines and that is definitely the way to go because they have so many options to choose from it can be hard to choose just one. They even offer exotic choices that change regularly. Exotic might be kangaroo, ostrich, red deer, or birds. The special for seafood when we went was Mako shark steaks. This place stands alone in Savannah. Everything was perfect.
Yes we spent a lot of money at this restaurant but it was an amazing meal. Our server was excellent and the food was superb. The starter crab cakes were second to none. Sooo good. We had the scallops and the lamb chops entrees and both were excellent. If you want to treat yourself to an upscale dining experience this is the place to go in Savannah!
I have a sweet tooth, so when looking for a place for dinner I typically review the dessert menu first. I love bread pudding so I figured I'd give Alligator Soul a try. The dinner was great. I had Gumbo which was excellent, and the bread pudding was amongst the best I've had. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat there again the next time I'm in Savannah.
Loved this place! The ostrich tasted as good as a great steak. The alligator fritters were amazing. The service was even better. Our waiter Sonny was friendly attentive and very helpful. Have definitely found a favorite in Savannah
