Very good bacon cheeseburger! The meat was juicy not dry at all. Great place for a good burger
Friendly hostess seated us, and perky, efficient waitress took our orders. All quick and easy. Good thing since we'd been on the road for 5 hours, we were hungry, & this is the place raved about in a guidebook and on Yelp.
Wanted to try the Angus Sliders, but our waitress told us they are small & cooked all the way. So I ordered the 1/3 pound angus on a wheat bun with applesauce. I like coleslaw, but the posted photos showed dried, vinegar based coleslaw. My husband ordered the third pound burger, on a white bun with cheese. For his side he ordered curly fries. There is an up-charge for these, but it was reasonable. We asked for them to be cooked medium.
The burgers came in a timely fashion. They were good. Not as juicy as I had hoped. Maybe I should have asked for medium rare. We've had worse and we've had better. Fries were good - hubby shared - and applesauce was good. Everything was good - not spectacular & not horrible. We'd come back, but we'd also try a few other restaurants' burgers, too.
The food was okay, but nothing to get excited about. Overall there was a lack of any flavor at all. My kids had chicken fingers, which looked absolutely amazing, but we're extremely bland. It was like they battered them with flour and no seasonings. I had a burger which again looked great but didn't even seem to have salt or pepper in it. My wife had the club sandwich and said it was just average as well. I will say that my curly fries had a nice taste to them as did my wife's buffalo chips. Beyond that though the food was fairly lack luster.
Me and the family checked this place out on a Sunday for lunch. We sat outside on the covered patio. I'm a burger guy and was intrigued by the many meat options. Angus, Bison, chicken, elk, and a few others. I got a half pound Angus on a pretzel bun. It was good but a little to messy. Wife had chicken sliders and was disappointed in how soggy and wet the bottom buns where but overall a good taste. Kids menu was typical, 3 year old settled for fruit and fries while the 8 year old did sliders. Family of 4 and the meal was $50 before tip. Will visit again.
Shout out to Kaitlyn for wonderful service. She gets it and knows what soft bacon is. Atmosphere was nice and friendly. Food was great. Go for the onion rings, worth the small up charge. They treat you like friends coming to dinner.
