Spanky's Pizza Galley & Saloon

Two year ago my husband and I came in here for lunch, this was a must for us again on this trip with our kids! The kids enjoyed their lunch and said they can’t wait to come make and visit again. By the way, the spuds with honey dip are amazing!!

I live in Atlanta, GA. and I go to River Street, Savannah, GA just to eat at Spanky's. The food is personally phenomenal to me. The Crew and Bartenders can make you feel like you're the only ones there. Each one goes above and beyond taking care of your dining experience. It's a laid back, down home, comfortable place to eat as you watch the Ships go in and out of the harbor. It's just a fun place to be!

Spanky’s is a great place to visit if you are craving some American style food. The food is delicious and savory with every bite. The restaurant becomes crowded very fast due to being right on river street. If you plan I’m going, call ahead to see the wait time because they may have seating available even though they do not do reservations.

We popped into Spanky's for a quick bite with a diverse group of eaters. The only ones disappointed were hoping to have fresh seafood so close to the water. The pizza was unique with a crisp crust and loaded with toppings. The kids had chicken fingers and burgers and were quite pleased with their selection. Spankys offers fried veggies as an appetizer and while unique they were quite tasty! Service was good but with a large group they tack on a 20% service charge essentially shorting their staff from the opportunity to get a better tip.

We were originally going to go somewhere else, but we left because we waited for 20 minutes and got no service. We came here and were seated almost immediately. The waitress was very friendly and was quick to get our drinks and order. The only downside was that we weren't able to get any extra sauce and I was given the wrong drink. Other than that it was super good and I'm happy we went here instead :)
