The Shrimp Factory

Came for dinner during a haphazard girl's trip...long story...the service was great. We were seated right away and our waitress was friendly. The food was delicious. I had the specialty stew which was good though heavy on the fish & light on all other proteins. The bread & pimento cheese were tasty but I realize now that none of us recieved our Caesar salads that were to accompany our entrees. Nonetheless it was a pleasant experience.

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and I’m so glad that we did! Overall, we had a great experience. They had a live guitarist playing which made for a great atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and had good food suggestions. The fish was delicious too!

Server was very sweet and took good care of us. Shrimp tacos yummy with mango and kiwi. Fried green tomato BLT served on this amazing wheat bread. Turkey club was good with the same bread and thick turkey. Burger was good and the fries have a different spin with a sour cream and onion seasoning. The only bummer was the oysters on a half shell... They were dried out liked they may have been shucked earlier in the day and then sat in the refrigerator. Praline cheesecake and pecan pie were hits with my kids!

Great food. Awesome atmosphere. The hostess did not have a good attitude but our waiter was nice and accommodating. The food was delicious. Our two favorite dishes were the Local Shrimp Trio and the Shrimp and Crab De Gratin. Will definitely recommend and return in the future.

This place was good! We had the fried oysters, salad, blackened grouper, and the shrimp and grits. We were impressed with some of the flavors. The fried oysters were okay. My blackened grouper was really good, the shrimp and grits was okay. The bread is served with two different kinds of butter, one was a delicious pimento butter. The coleslaw was really good and the salad that came with our meal was just perfect. We didn't have room for dessert but we definitely want to try one. I would recommend trying this place. I would suggest the blackened grouper but not really the shrimp and grits.
