Wow. This place is good, so good I had to eat here twice during my two day stay. There is a lot of variety as well. I had the chips and salsa, a large burrito and the Gran which was flavorful steak topped with a couple of fried eggs served with beans, rice and perfectly cooked fried plantains. All of it was delicious! The chicken burrito was outstanding and filling! The chips were fantastic and the salsa was a tad sweet for my taste but flavorful. The food was outstanding! And the place was fun as it looked like a little hole in the wall. The line is sometimes long and the picnic tables and different decorations was great! Simply fun and lively with nice outside seating!! The best all around food I had in Athens! Enjoy Cali N Tito’s on Lumpkin right by the University athletic complex!

The food is very nice and affordable. The vibe is relaxing and feels informal. It is really popular, so there is always a chance that you won't get a spot. You must order at the counter, which is unusual and often lead to long lines. You can bring your own alcohol and pay a fee to drink it there. When I went, they still only took cash - prepare for this!! There is another one in Athens that is a bit different and accepts cards.

This place is great - fresh and flavorful food at a great price. The fish seems like they just pulled it out of the ocean and cooked it up and then slapped it in a freshly made tortilla. The Cuban sandwich was simple yet so full of flavor. The atmosphere is fun and funky and fits a classic college town joint.

The hamburger here is very good, but don't look in the kitchen--it is not what I would call organized. Very friendly wait staff. It's one of those little holes in the wall that locals love and tourists find interesting. The decor is unique and a little dusty. After reading reviews I decided to give this place a try. I am glad I did. I would say get there early as it's small and doesn't have a lot of seating. I got a burger and it was great. The milkshakes were also delicious! I will definitely be returning.
