Ike & Jane

It's a cozy and stylish place. I really like the simplistic interior. However there is not too much variety for vegetarian and vegans. All in all it is a basic breakfast place that is good to visit if you are close by and just need a bite. I rated it down from 4 stars to three because the coffee quality is not great all.

Ike and Jane is located just west of downtown Athens in a nondescript building with virtually nonexistent parking. That being said, go there anyway. You will be glad you did. It's readily apparent that a lot of regulars frequent the place. That's because the food is so good. However, be forewarned that if you miss the breakfast rush, many of the baked goods will be long gone. The breakfast sandwich is amazing. I could eat one every time that I go there, and never be disappointed. If you're a first time visitor, let them know because otherwise you will feel out of the loop as customers come and go while your food has not come out of the kitchen. Friendly staff!

Food is phenomenal and the staff is amazing. This is a great place to relax over great food and better conversation. I could easily be a regular here.

Currently my favorite breakfast around! Ike and Jane's provides some of the best biscuits you will find in Athens (my favorite is a bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit). Not to mention the wonderful rotating selection of doughnuts! A fresh cup of coffee rounds out the experience perfectly. 5/5 will keep returning!

We always stop at Ike and Jane when in Athens! They always have yummy gluten free treats for me! My gluten eating husband loves the breakfast sandwiches. The donuts and biscuits are super fresh, as is the orange juice. The building is super cute and parking is generally available. Staff is super nice!
