Joella's Hot Chicken

Delicious chicken and wonderful side items are served in a clean restaurant by a courteous staff. Please bring back the coleslaw.

We couldn't decide where to eat last Sunday, wanted something different and stumbled across Joella's. We got the (white meat) chicken plates with sides. Enjoyed the green beans, mac & cheese and kale salad. They were out of mashed potatoes but they gave us a free side to make up for it. The portion was somewhat small for the kale salad but it was good. Everything was very good! The fried chicken was well seasoned and super tasty. The staff was very friendly. We will go back again for another try!

Today was my first time trying Joella’s Hot Chicken and it was a great experience. I had the Southern chicken tenders and loved them so much that I brought my daughter back the same day. In addition to the good food, the guy with the dreads (didn’t get his name) at window was awesome sauce, just like your sauces.

Very good chicken with a spicy dry rub rather than conventional wing sauce. Mac and cheese was good too. It is about $10 per person which is expensive even for a fast casual experience. The soda fountain is only Boylan varieties which is a pleasant change of pace from the typical Coca-Cola options. We had some service issues while we were there for the first time, but when prompted the employees were apologetic and tried to make amends.
