“First visit @ Gary's. Had the double 2/3 pound cheese burger combo. Order came to $11.04 which included a convenience fee of 41 cents because I used my credit card. There's a warning notice on the front door advising the customer the fee was levied. I just had never been to a fast food restaurant that charged the fee. My order was promptly prepared and served. The double cheeseburger was EXCELLENT! The order of crispy fries filled the basket and were perfectly prepared. A very filling lunch.”

“This place has good food, but the staff here is slow. They take forever to bring out your salad and when they do bring it out there is barely any dressing on the salad. Then next is your food, which is always super greasy and never looks appetizing. It takes forever for a refill, but the food once you get past how it looks is good. It would have a higher rating if the staff was better to match their food.”

“I've lived very close to this restaurant my entire life and I've been to it and ordered from it innumerable times. The food has always been great. It's hot, delicious, and filling. I've never had an issue with the food's quality, and the wonton soup is considered a cure-all for head sicknesses in my house; it always works. The plates are best shared between two people or more as the meals are served in typical Chinese portions. Probably one of the best Chinese take-out restaurants in Augusta.”

“We used the drive-thru this time. The line was moderately slow. The little kid (who was with us) didn't figure out what he wanted on time so once we got to the speaker the lady in the other side was polite and gave us some extra time to decide. From my order, the fries were good, the whopper Jr should have had a little more tomato and onion plus it was a little bit cold (I'm guessing they made it before we got there and I ordered it), and my sprite was a little more watery than it should have. “Steak and shake was really great. We went around 3 PM during happy hour and got great service, but they were out of several ingredients for shakes and dinners. The staff quickly responded and offered items to best suit the customer. Everyone was friendly, caring, and committed to serving. I truly thought this location deserved its rating. I ordered my usual western BBQ and it was again delicious. The rest of the party had a really good looking chicken salad with grilled chicken, mac n cheese for the kids with an apple sauce, and three superb shakes-- two birthday and one chocolate covered strawberry. I have always enjoyed my times at Steak and Shake around the country but this location truly brings me back to my childhood friendly experiences with family outings on hot summer days. I hope it does the same for you.”

“Stopped by for dinner with my daughter. Her burger was great and huge. I got the special which was Cajun catfish and shrimp. Had a pretty good flavor but was extremely salty. I ate half and brought the rest home. Ticket came and my meal was $16.99. I didn't think it was right but maybe I read the sign out front wrong. As we left, special was listed outside as $14.99. I asked if I had ordered a side dish that ran it up $2. The girl said no but checked the computer. Bartender told her it had been ringing up wrong price all night. She offered to void my ticket and re-ring but it was late, we were tired and I did not feel like waiting for a manager to completely void the ticket, and have to credit then recharge my credit card for $2. I feel like the restaurant was dishonest if they KNEW it was ringing up wrong all night but continued to over charge customers. Bad business. We have eaten here before and probably will again but will be much more vigilant in the future to them over charging on so called specials.”
