“Simple menu of oysters, fried chicken and some interesting takes on southern side dishes served in industrial-modern decor. We ordered a half chicken with two sides and it was plenty of food. Get your chicken HOT, but be prepared to get messy. If that's not your thing try the chicken sandwich, which you can also order hot. I'd also recommend the creamed corn, but side dishes are pricey here. Overall, great addition to the neighborhood.”

“Just ate at Lake & Oak for the first time today and I'm mighty impressed. I had the chicken, pimento cheese, and collard greens sandwich. It was awesome. When I ordered it, I thought to myself, Well, this can go either way. Let me tell you, it went the right way: chicken was smoked beautifully and very tasty; just a schmear of pimiento cheese (which was just right, IMO; a tribute to the sandwich's overall being beautifully balanced); and a heaping amount of collard greens (again, just the right amount). I ordered Brunswick stew as the side and it was very nice, too. I'm not a BBQ expert or anything, but I've had my share of different Brunswick stews, and Lake & Oak's strikes me as a traditional straight-up version, which I thought was just right. As with the sandwich, the quality of the ingredients and care in preparation stood out to me in the stew. Nicely done. Will be going back again.”

“I was browsing DoorDash with a leaning toward a salad based lunch. Came across “Saladworks”. I had never heard of them before today, but I like to try new places and thought I’d give it a try. Ordered the Soup & Salad Combo (Mandarin Chicken salad with Broccoli Cheese soup) with wheat roll and chips. Order arrived on time, complete and packaged well for delivery. The salad included a tasty mix of ingredients that really worked well together. They tasted fresh and were cut and mixed to where you got a nice blend of flavors in every fork full. The soup was really delicious and hit the spot on a cool Fall day. Wheat roll was excellent as well, with that fresh bread chewy thing going on. Chips are, well, chips. I enjoyed the whole meal and would certainly have no qualms about ordering from there again.”

Their teas are really good and range from many flavors. Their poke bowls/poke burrito is so amazing as well. There are many poke bowl places in Atl...but no one comes close to them. And the staff is very nice and friendly. Hands down amazing! Will defiantly be coming here very often. My new go to bubble tea spot.”

They cary a wide selection of Kosher dairy items like sour cream, cheese, cream cheese, etc. They also have sandwiches but most of them are vegetarian/vegan. The have a great selection of Israeli snacks, desserts and even fresh baked pita. I enjoyed shopping here!!”

“Just left and this customer in front of me in line was super rude and belligerent towards the staff I know she’s going to cooperate about her experience but she was truly in the wrong as a fellow customer I had to say something because the lady came in rudely demanding fresh hard shells tacos at the staff , then the manager prepared them and made her the taco and the lady was going off the entire time and was getting me mad behind her holding up the line being extra with the manager stuffing a single hard taco and as the manager kept serving the lady the lady was just saying rude things and not being patient at all and I literally saw no wrong from the staff! No worries we all make mistakes”
