Coyote's Mexican Grill

AMAZING! my first visit with my esposo and the food was soooooo good. We were greeted immediately and the service was quick. I had the shrimp fajitas and I ate it all. The rice was hot and complemented the black beans so well. The veggies were sizzling, crisp, and delicious. The portion size was perfect and I left the restaurant already making plans to return to try something else on the menu. My husband had a combo dish but he said it was the best enchilada ever.
Amazing food and great staff

The Taco Loco was smaller than I expected but it was very tasty and actually a good amount of food. We had 2 fun cocktails and 2 entrees and the bill was less than $50 with tip! I also love that they actually have "fajita nachos" which most ATL mexican restaurants don't have on the menu!

Great Mexican place in Decatur. They provide free chips and salsa and the cups for water, soda, and tea are huge which I love because they don't have to constantly refill them like at some restaurants. Several large tables and booths which can seat groups of 10. This past Friday they had a great mariachi band playing at 600 which the kids loved. Parking can be difficult especially if there is an event going on Downtown. If necessary you can always park a short walk away on Sycamore Place for free.

Pros:
- chips and salsa were really good
- fried fish tacos were great
- outdoor seating was nice

Cons:
- parking lot has some containers for garbage and used cooking oil, smelled terrible.

Coyote's was recommended to me by someone who had been coming to it for many years. It's situated in a quiet (unless the train comes by) corner of Decatur, and has a large patio for outdoor seating. The food seemed reasonably priced, as were drinks. The fish tacos were perfectly crispy, and the chipotle sauce was very tasty.

Good Mexican food. Bypass house margarita for top shelf. Fresh chips and tasty salsa. Good service. Limited free parking. Nice location and outdoor seating. Good lunch spot.
