Mezcalito's Cantina

We came in here Saturday night after Matador Cantina turned us away at 8:30PM. Our server was nice and gave us plenty of time to decide on drinks and food, we also had a child with us so we needed the extra time. Food came out quickly, we had the house hot sauce to top off our tacos and tamales, food was fresh and flavorful. Our child in the party ate a lot of her food and ate some of her mom’s food, which says a lot because she is a very picky eater. We had a great time and thank you for your friendly service.

We had to wait about 25 minutes for a table for 5. When we sat down, it took a couple of minutes to be greeted. When we were greeted, the server said that she could find any glasses for our water. After that, everything was exceptional. The salsas were delicious, the entrees were delicious. I had the chicken enchiladas, one with red sauce, one with green. My brother had tacos, chicken I think, and said those were tasty. My son really liked the shrimp taco. The only thing that wasn't A+ was my margarita. It was good, but I should've gotten the regular, not the gold. Overall, it was a fine dining experience.

I had the BEST beet salad AND margaritas I have ever had. Elisabeth was our server and was great. She suggested the BLUEBERRY margaritas - everything is fresh and hand squeezed - and boy, was she right. Excellent ambience, food, service and prices - I will def be back!

Great food and atmosphere! We had brisket and chicken enchiladas that were fantastic. The chips and queso were also great - chips were hot out of the fryer. Seating inside and out. Highly recommend.

Our server was a great! I was not impressed with the food. It needed some love (salt & pepper? Loved that the salad was cabbage and the dressing was made in house!!
