“My husband and I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Was a Saturday night so fairly busy. Took awhile for a waiter to even get our dink order. We order drinks and an appetizer, the buttered croissants which are amazing! Again, took awhile to even get this. We ordered 2 steaks, they were cooked medium rare as we asked but were quite difficult to cut. Not sure if was from the meat or the knives we had weren't sharp enough - either way, disappointing. We were looking forward to a nice meal for date night, instead it was a less than average meal with mediocre service. They boast that they've been voted the best steakhouse, Longhorn could provide a better cooked steak and service.”

“It's your everyday Dunkin Donut. Not my usual location. They employees were very nice and helpful. However my bagel was very hard and I got a vanilla iced decaf and it was way too sweet and u couldn't even taste the coffee. The lady that made my coffee did try and fix it by adding cream but coffee would have been the better option. Like I already said though, it was a good clean store and everyone was very nice.”

“This place is tricky to review. The interior is comforting and laid out nicely. The food is pretty good as well. What is odd is the being the only people in the dining area at 8pm on a Saturday. I don’t know if it’s haunted or I missed a news story explaining a nurse here but the place was empty. The food isn’t bad, perhaps the inflated pricing is to blame. It is pricey for the quality of the food. We had a pizza and the crust was a little burnt but still enjoyable. We both had Cesar salads and enjoyed them as well. Since it’s empty I’d suggest this place if you want some privacy.”

“This employee needs recognition!!!! This is my go to pizza place. After a few not so great experiences with this dominos, Jeff was able to assist me beautifully. Side note: This Domino’s has messed up my order multiple times. Not so badly but not what I ordered. Last time being the time I complained and received “compensation” by then having my order remade and redelivered. I didn’t want to wait to I asked for them to hold my comp. I called today and they had no recollection of the messed up order or comp. I’ve been having a rough day and needed to order food quickly with ease and no hassle. I ordered more than pizzas but only the pizzas were messed up so I reordered my full order but paid for the desserts. There was absolutely no hassle upon speaking to him. He addressed my needs and when unable to address my concerns personally, and instead of saying I don’t know, he quickly informed a manager and got back to be with a pro-active solution pronto! Thank you for not giving me a hard time like most places would and thank you even more for making it a quick, easy, and pleasurable experience placing my order with you, Jeff! “We all know McDonald's food isn't especially good for you but as far as McDonald's goes, this one is the best I've ever been to (no exaggeration). The place is super clean inside & out. Bad management tends to make employees unhappy & it's reflected in attitude & service (NOT DESCRIBING THIS STORE). I didn't see anyone that looked like management on this visit but the person that served me was friendly (like he was glad to be there; he also calculated my change without relying on the register) & fast. My custom cheeseburger came quickly & accurately. I had to ask for the fries to be topped off because they were a bit low.”

“I'm usually pretty skeptical when it comes to gas station biscuits. They can be hit or miss. Usually more miss than hit. We go fishing in Louisiana regularly. My buddy raves about the home made sausage biscuits this gas station near the boat launch serves. So I go in one morning and look around. They're out of biscuits. The nice lady at the counter asks if I want her to make me a fresh biscuit. Sure! I'm thinking she's about to whip up some cajun deliciousness. She walks around the counter, heads to the frozen food case, opens a package of frozen biscuits and sausage, pops it into the microwave, Ding! Out of the cellophane, wraps it in foil, "Here you go." I sure didnt need that rumbling around in my belly all day on the boat so I gave it to my buddy back at the truck. That's kind of what I expect. Well, Round The Corner is the absolute opposite of that. I stopped there with another fishing buddy on our way to fish the dam. We bypassed all the fast food joints and I knew I needed something to carry me. We stopped for gas and I thought I'd grab a granola bar or maybe a juice. I see the counter and decide to give it a try. I grab a couple of tenderloin, egg, and cheese biscuits. A gentleman sitting at the counter starts talking to me about the biscuits. How the tenderloin is brought in, sliced and seasoned. How the biscuits are handmade. How his lunches and dinners are better than the sit down places in town. Not in a pushy way, but in a prideful way. Obviously the owner operator of the place. This guy is serious about his food and wants to make sure you are getting the highest quality ingredients. That's what he told me, and I believe him! So I grab a couple packs of hot sauce, which he has in a nice dispenser, loaded with other condiments, and head out to the tailgate. Absolutely delicious! This biscuit was flaky and HUGE! The tenderloin was moist and well seasoned. There had to be two eggs in the biscuit. I actually couldn't eat both biscuits. I'm 6'1" and weigh 220lbs. If I can't eat two biscuits before going fishing all day, that says something about the size of those biscuits. I went back in to get a knife to cut the second biscuit in half for my buddy. The owner asked what I thought. I told him I would be back! Just out of curiosity, I grabbed a look at the daily specials. Philly cheese steak, ribs, yup, I'll be back!!! As an aside.....my buddy loves the Tropicalia beer out of Athens. That beer is tough to find. A few months back he found 2 six packs of it at a package store in town. They were keeping it behind the counter. They would only sell him 2. Not 2 six packs, 2 beers!!! They had to ration it!! Well, at this gas station they had that and Dale's Pale Ale, which I like, in the beer section. Quite a store. For sure a cut above the rest. I wish it was closer to me. Well, on second thought, I probably don't need to be eating those HUMONGOUS biscuits more than just a weekend treat. Go for yourself, I bet that owner is sitting at the counter there right now, bragging on his food!!!”

“Cozy atmosphere, great food and good service. We went there after a volleyball game at North. It's a smallish place, but they handled the crazy of my family (which included 12 people with late joiners) very well. The service was good, and everyone enjoyed their food. I had the lasagna, which was excellent. I tried the Stromboli, which was very good as well. My wife loved her wings and most importantly my father in law loved his pizza. Hes hard to please with pizza. Definitely recommended, and we will go back if we are up that way again.”
