Imperial Fez Restaurant

I love this restaurant. My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day here. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.

This makes me sad. I used to really like this place, but a recent visit was less impressive than expected.

Service - took forever to get drinks, appetizers and then entrees. They were clearly understaffed and the server could only check on the table every 15min or more. Imagine waiting 15min to get a glass of water.

Food - the lamb with sweet plums had an appealing flavor, and the lamb was tender, but everything was drowned in the gravy making the flavors less distinct and the texture similar to stew. It was underwhelming for $28.

Parking - they no longer offer valet (manager stated they were looking for a new company), and the parking options behind the building are limited and inconvenient (the larger lot requires you to walk up a steep ramp to get back to the entrance).

Entertainment- on a Saturday night, there was one belly dancer. She also did the fire show. And she performed 3-4 times in three hours. In between, there was low, non-descript music playing in the background. It didn't really create any kind of atmosphere.

We had a wonderful and super friendly experience last night. Very down to earth management and owner. The food were excellent; We had the trio appetizer and lamb dish, hot tea, shisha and desert. The owner and the chef came out and spoke with every customer. They even sat down with us and joked around. I absolutely highly recommend this restaurant to any one looking for a relaxed atmosphere, great music, and amazing food. I am surly coming back with all my friends.

I eat here a lot since I work close by. I like how the customer service is always good and they keep the place well organized constantly. Pricing is reasonable and they serve generous portions.

We have been very excited to dine at this restaurant and watch the belly dancing show. We made reservation for 6:30. We arrived on time. The ambiance is nice. The servers were gracious and helpful. We loved the food and the size of the plates. We were able to feel very satisfied with only one order. The only disappointment was the belly dancing show. Only one lady shows up and she dances a little and she is gone for at least half an hour. She comes back with the same outfit and does the same dance. I don't know if it was too early in the night or not enough public? But we left there hoping for a better show. It was nothing as I expected.
