Velvet Taco

Get the corn!!! That's my favorite thing on the menu next to the chicken and waffles taco. Highly recommend trying their taco of the week. It's usually some odd combination that somehow works. The 3 P's taco from a couple of weeks ago was awesome. It was pomegranate arils, grilled peaches and pulled pork. Please bring this back!!

The food is an exciting adventure, so many really amazing Tacos! Every time I've been there, the employees were very kind and friendly. I especially liked the sweet tea and the black tea! I would like a homemade tartar sauce option on the amazing fried fish taco. The Curry mustard is good for something different. I'd probably buy more tacos if tarter sauce were available on the amazing fried fish! Cooked perfectly too!The shrimp and grit ball taco was really great too! But you'll have to like tomatoe sauce but it's a great combination of flavors! Y'all do such a great job with food! Don't go expecting Mexican Tacos, it's a different recipe on a taco and you won't be disappointed!

Went there on MLK day. It was down the street from the museum and an idea lunch stop. I had the Cuban pig taco and the tots. It was absolutely delicious! The home made pickles may have been my favorite part of the taco. The staff could've been friendlier, but no one was just out right rude so I'll save my complaint and hope that the front of house has better days. The wait time was not long and the seating was comfortable and not overcrowded. I'll definitely try this place again.

Great choices of REALLY good food. The service was fast and friendly. The food was well prepared and presented. The choices are like nowhere else and it tastes wonderful. It is a fairly inexpensive place to get a great meal.

This place was a delicious Surprise!! One of the "Best" late night eateries that my wife and I have been too!! They don't close until 3am on Friday's & Saturday's!! The tacos were "Amazing!" Absolutely full of Flavor!! You can taste every ingredient that's listed on the menu for each taco!! You know that's each order is handled with care and the Velvet Taco crew are great at explaining the details of each taco with a smile! They also have vegetarian options!! The atmosphere is so, comfortable and lively! This is a great place for a date night, fun night, friends night out and if you just wanted dine just by yourself!! We'll definitely be back again!! Thank you Velvet Taco for being "Great!!"
