“Yes the customer service is poor. But that's a trend in Atlanta, especially among young people. That's predominately the type of employees that work at this location. I pay it no mind because I have to get my pretzel fix. Most of the time the pretzels are near fresh, or at least not too old. Sometimes, they just need to be trashed instead of sold, as they sometimes do. The employees need to have more of a sense or urgency and care enough to keep fresh product stocked. It's the busiest mall in the entire metro area and ppl will have to wait 10-20 minutes for fresh product, but it's 4-6 employees standing behind the counter. Not cool.”

“Great fresh bagels. Just the right amount of shmear. Friendly service. I stopped by this location every morning I was in Atlanta (4 days) and thoroughly enjoyed my bagel each time. Service was nothing over the top, but was what one would expect - basic. The only complaint I had was that the location was out of skim milk on more that one of my visits. Overall, I'd say this is a great place for your bagel fix. Visited around 6:45/7:30 am Tue-Fri”

“I love this place with many healthy choices, the kale & wild rice soup is great, got the fruit, egg, & nuts tray and a chicken Cobb avocado salad with my favorite organic supreme earl grey tea w/honey. I treated myself to a cranberry almond chocolate covered coconut macaroon. Very clean establishment, open 24 hours, convenient for overnight or late night visitors at the hospital. A little pricey, worth every dime. Nice vibe, great location. I won’t be going back to the cafeteria.”

Ken and Thomas were very gracious in explaining the history of ULU which means Us Lifting Us as well as their vision for the cafe. I was excited to know that for 50.00 I could become a member and for 1000 I could own a share in the business. A business with a vision for the future of Black people. I have been following them since Cafe ULU was a idea to now the realization of the cafe and moving towards the cafe being vertically integrated. But for now their mission is to connect Blacks folks in Atlanta with one another around the idea of Us Lifting Us. I am going to do my part and you should too. Visit, buy, invest. help where needed.”
