Having grown up in NY, I have eaten a lot of pizza and for the last 20 years of living in Atlanta I've made it a point to try every "NY" style pizzeria I come across. My 5-star review is graded on an Atlanta pizza curve. If this was a real NY pizzeria, they would have a display case of a variety of ready made slices. They don't. They would have 18" or larger pies, they don't. The pizza would be less expensive for the size pie that it is. I could go on if I were being picky, but if you are craving a taste of NY and are stuck in Atlanta, this will do the trick.”

“I randomly found this place as it was just opening for the night & was pleased to find out Wednesday is ladies night with 1/2 priced sushi rolls and drink specials- one of their many specials as I was told Mondays and Sundays also have deals. I got the Ni roll (clever menu: has Ichi, Ni, San, etc rolls; the numbers 1 through 10 in Japanese, cute touch! ) and ordered a modification without a hitch. It was so delicious I ended up getting an order to go. I sat at the bar near the chefs. They were all very friendly, my waitress was awesome and the manager checked in on me as well. Overall great service, lovely ambiance (for solo meal, date night, or ladies night), and delicious food. Will be making this a regular spot!”

“First time here and we tried two different biscuit meals. I was hoping for better character inside but we did notice when leaving a separate section that looked nice. They do have an outdoor section that looks very nice, but too cool out to sit there. Our biscuit meals were okay, with the flavor of the biscuits just average and mine was warm to cool when it arrived. Other full meals I saw go by looked real good, so I may try that next time. Our service was excellent with our server super friendly, but you can tell they’re still learning. Coffee excellent, hot and filled often. Hoping the best for them, everyone seemed very nice. Thank you!”

“Great little pizza/brew joint. Place is clean. Staff is nice. I ordered the carnivore pizza, pretty good. It wasn’t especially salty like other meat lover brands. Pizza only comes in one size, 20 inch. My only recommendation is you consider a personal pizza size on the menu for those single patrons staying at the Wyndham Galleria across the street. The hotel does not have room fridges so my leftovers had to be tossed.”

“I stopped into The Select while I was passing through Atlanta, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. It is quite difficult to perfectly balance ambience, hospitable service, and quality of food, but David Green and his staff have done just that. From the moment I entered the doors of the establishment to the moment I hopped into my cab, I was made to feel like a highly respected guest. I left with a sweet taste in my mouth and a content feeling in my stomach. The cocktails were exquisite, the food was delicious, and the strawberry shortcake was better than my grandmother's personal recipe(sorry Gran). I would choose this place for a VIP client, a family gathering, or simply a gathering for drinks amongst friends. Bravo to The Select; I will certainly be back when I come back to Atlanta.”

“Fresh and healthy. Simple process. Small, medium, or large bowl which will give you 2, 3, or 4 proteins. For lunch, I get a small. Dinner, a medium. I am 190 pounds if that helps your decision making on size. In addition to the raw seafood options, they do have several cooked meats now. You choose your base, protein, and toppings and they mix it up in a bowl. Not the best quality fish, but it is fresh. Always leaves me feeling good.”

“The Latino Market in this square is incredibly good lots of cool grocery items plus there's a tiny restaurant off to the corner in the right really good street tacos my family and I enjoy them plus the fish if you like fish is really good plenty to last you a couple of meals also get the pork rinds and the chickens from the little butcher shop my gosh I'm getting full just thinking about all of those things over all a good place a Hidden Gem for sure”
