Jekyll Island Seafood Company

My wife and I had lunch on their outside patio. Cool breeze from ocean a perfect day to sit out. My wife had shrimp and grits and I had gumbo and a blackened chicken sandwich. Staff friendly and attentive food was good. Beside the beach in the Beach Village a good location across from the Westin. I would have lunch there again. I also o had a Jekyll Island Brown Ale; it was a good brew.

Wouldn’t return here for another meal, but maybe a nice place to hang on the patio and drink a beer and eat some fries...

Decent food, nothing special, but low quantity of seafood for the price. My $16 shrimp and grits had 6 medium/small sized shrimp, but overall the flavors were good. Shrimp tacos were not great, the tortillas looked like they just came out of a plastic bag.

Service was good, not great, but she took good care of us.

I just ate lunch here today with my wife & mother-in-law. The waitress was helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and all 3 of us enjoyed our meals very much.

I got the Captain’s Platter and for $14, I couldn’t finish the plate! My in-law have been here before and always have great service. My wife & I will definitely be back in the future.
