“I love this place!! A dear friend took me to breakfast here this morning, since someone had recommended it to her. It didn't disappoint! It was delightful! One of the owners, Allen, gave us great service with a sense of humor included. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious southern breakfasts! If you want a welcoming, comfortable place with delicious food at great prices, I suggest you head to GiGi's of Grayson! “Food was good. Everything was clean. Service was friendly. My only complaint is that the water from the sink in the women’s restroom was scorching hot. Steam was rising up. I couldn’t keep my hands under the running water. I could not let my child wash his hands because it would have burned him. An elderly person or anyone with nerve issues would severely burn themselves. I mentioned it to a worker and she just kind of laughed about it, so it’s obvious they know about it. I really hope someone doesn’t get burned. I tried warning.”

“Food is nothing spectacular. I visited on a Monday around 11:30am and was served cold food. The tenders were tiny, and the fries didn't impress me. I thought going right at lunch food would be the right choice but it was not. Definitely wasn't worth the $11 I paid and I won't be returning. Guess this is what happens when you believe the hype. The staff was polite and friendly but serving me cold food isnt good service and the reason they get 3 stars.”

“Intimate, mellow soul food joint/cafe that you can vibe to while eating. THE BAD: Hours are limited to the weekend evenings. There isn't a menu, the waitress informs you what they're serving for that day & you choose from those choices; nope, no prices either. Lastly, they only take Zelle, CashApp, Venmo; they probably take cash, but definitely not debit/credit card. THE GOOD: I really can't fix my lips to speak ill about this place. The vibe is mellowed out in a repurposed home, which gives it an intimate feel. The live band is only 2 people, but they play a plethora of instruments, don't take breaks, & have you grooving to jazzed up, funked out RnB. The food is everything soul food should be: spiced right, large portions, hot, fragrant, mouth-watering. We paid $35 for an entree with 2 sides & two delicious 'Arnold Palmer's drinks. The cherry on top is the owner/main chef will come to your table & interact with you, making you feel like a celebrity. She also has her family (as in younger family; kids) as the waiters/waitresses & they're very professional. A true black-owned family business in Gwinnett, so you don't have to travel all the way to the heart of ATL for some great soul food.”

“This place is amazing! The food and drinks are always hot (when they’re supposed to be hot) and everything is made right when you order it. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The owner is great and really gets to know the people that come in. Even though my mother has left town he still asks about her and how she’s doing. If your dog is with you in the drive through line they have a cute little treat for him/her as well! They support local jewelry makers as well with a little spot on the wall selling jewelry. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place! The Miller siblings could not be more wrong about this place but I suppose another coffee house will one day earn an extra star or two from them.”

“Hubby and I went for lunch. As a free appetizer , we got hot from the oven, yummy garlic , Olive oil bread. Hubby had 1 of the 4 or 5 lunch's specials and I had a Lasagna Rustica from the regular menu , both were delicious and with large satisfying portions; we both had doggy bags. Staff was, friendly, attentive and prompt . Prices were affordable. Seating area is nice with a parking area. We enjoyed eating at Fratelli's.”

“This is the best tasting creole food I have ever had, besides my mother’s. I ordered the catfish, vegetarian jambalaya, collard greens, and red beans and rice for an event I hosted. We also ordered some items from another “soul food” restaurant. Needless to say all of the food from Mom’s was eaten first! All of the leftovers were from “the other place.” This food is seasoned just right and you can taste the “love” in this food. This will be our go to from now on!
