I have went here twice. First, with my husband and second, with my kids. I love jjambbong but it was alright. It wasn’t the flavor that I was used to eat. It was spicy, but didn’t had any flavor.
On the other hand, Jjajangmyeun was awesome!! I give 👍🏻👍🏻. The portion was a lot. It was meant for two adults but my 3 kids shared it and still had a left over. I had tangsuyook before with my husband but personally, it was too hard, not crispy just hard. I was told they are using rice starch instead of potato starch which makes it hard.
Either way, a lot of people seem to like jjambbong and tangsuyook.
I do recommended to try it.
Kids friendly
Huge Parking lot available
Clean CLEAN!!!! bathroom
**Some staffs are super nice and attentive but few are somewhat rude and don’t care.
Formerly known as "One Tofu," a familiar haunt of mine, this restaurant underwent a change of ownership, transitioning into a Chinese dining establishment. While initially disheartened by the transformation, my spirits were lifted upon stepping into the bustling atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Opting to leisurely explore the menu, my companions and I savored our dishes and beverages amidst lively conversation. We kicked off our culinary journey with the Fried Chicken in Sweet and Sour Soy Sauce (유린기), accompanied by Chinese Sake, Yantaiqunisno. The chicken boasted a delightful crispiness, complemented by the sauce's tantalizing blend of sweetness and spice, heightened by jalapeños. Following suit, we indulged in the Stir Fried Meatball and Vegetables (난자완스), a rarity to encounter such authentic Chinese fare elsewhere.
Our culinary voyage reached its zenith with the Seafood Shabu Soup with Noodles (해물샤부짬뽕). The broth, rich and flavorful, boasted an array of delectable seafood including crab legs, abalone, squid, and a medley of vegetables. However, the true standout was the exemplary service. A seasoned waitress graciously elucidated on the ingredient-sourcing process, even divulging details about their sister restaurant in New Jersey. Their commitment to freshness was evident, with seafood sourced directly from Manhattan and swiftly transported to New Jersey.
Much to our satisfaction, the bill reflected a modest sum, considering the caliber of cuisine and service rendered. Overall, we departed deeply impressed by the exceptional flavors, attentive service, and reasonable pricing. Here's to hoping they maintain their standards of excellence in both culinary delights and customer care.
The food is so yummy. I’ve been here five times and we drove 45 min. to get this deliciousness food. The service is always awesome! I recommend the tofu seafood spicy noodle which is my favorite.
What's better than a bowl of hot and delicious Mala jjamppong after the rain?
Perhaps because of the weather or the cold, I was thinking of food that could warm up my body; visited Hongbanjang that I remember having appetizing meal last time- ended up being the best decision I made today.
It had the abundant Mala aroma and was hot & spicy enough to let my cold go away (generous portion is always a PLUS).
Would recommend it to people who want to try a new Chinese Fusion meal around the area. Will be visiting again soon to try their other dishes.
I recently dined at Hongbanjang and it was absolutely awesome! The Jjamppong was rich and savory perfectly complemented by the spicy broth. Especially shabu jjampppng was a very new experience in Georgia! The menu offered a diverse range of options. I definitely recommend trying this place. Highly recommended!
