“I seek out BBQ places wherever I travel in the south, and after weeks of driving by this place I finally decided to stop in. I'm very glad I did. Ordered the rib plate with fries and Mac and cheese, my standard order at a new place. Service was pretty standard, order at the counter and it gets delivered to your table when ready. Order in to table took right around 10 minutes. Ribs were great, glazed but no sauce on them. Deeply smoked with good flavors. They didn't really need a sauce for the flavor, but their sauces were also good enough to add a little to add moisture and a bit of flavor. Sides were very good, with the Mac and cheese being the better of the two. Free pickles and garlic toast are always a welcome addition. Their sauce game was fairly strong. They have an Original flavor, which is more of a vinegar-style sauce, tangy, sweet and with a bit of heat for bite. Really good. They also have two tomato-based sauces, sweet heat and sweet. Regular sweet was way to sweet for me, but the sweet heat was also excellent. Next time I'll be sure to try the pulled pork, I think it would go great with the sauces they have there.”

“Me and my boyfriend have never had Vietnamese food before, but after watching a Vietnamese cooking show the other day I decided we HAD to find some. I found this spot on Google and we decided stop in for an early lunch. It can be intimidating trying to order somewhere where you're unfamiliar with the food, but our server (I wish I knew her name) made us feel SO comfortable with asking questions and giving us her recommendations, which I took. The other staff we interacted with was also so friendly. The owner, I presume, even asked us how we liked our meals when we were done and paying. The food was brought out to us fast, and it was delicious. We couldn't finish it all because of how giant the portions were, so there was plenty to take home. I just reheated my pho and it was still so good. The restaurant itself is so cute, clean and modern. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back.”

“The food was mediocre at best, the plates were served with sauce dripping off of them, and the place was very dirty. There were brooms and dustpans leaning against the customer seating (including the booth we were sitting in), yet the floor was nasty and unswept. Despite all of this our server was nice and attentive.”

“In my opinion Blimpie beats Subway in every way. The meat is fresher, the vegetables are crisper. All makes the sandwich more enjoyable. The dining area at this Blimpie is cleaner and more spacious than any Subway I have ever been in. The staff was friendly without being overly so.”

“My experience at this Dairy Queen has been a very good. I really enjoy all they have to offer. The 6 piece chicken strip basket is one of the best things they have on the menu. Especially, if you get it with the white gravy. All the Blizzard flavors are great. The Oreo blizzard is my favorite. The cotton candy blizzard is pretty good as well. The people that work here are very nice and they bring the food to your table which is a plus.”

“First time, not at all what I expected, but the roast beef was good. They aren't what I would consider a "deli". They have very limited options, 3 different meat sandwiches, with 3 bread options, with or without cheese. No lettuce, tomato, etc..... They have bottled, can, and fountain drinks, not much on the low-calorie side, and an assortment of chips. There is limited parking in front (2), and spaces in back, but you walk a short hill to the front door. There are a few tables and bar-like seating facing the front window and a few tables out front. The "decor", though it may be more on the nostalgia side with old photos, bumper stickers, pins, and signs, could do with some upgrading, as the place looks a bit run down with paneling, old tile, and torn walls. Staff is friendly, polite. Over all, I would go again. But like I said, not at all what I expected.”

“As you know, people make or break any business, this franchise of IHOP is not an exception. I was on this location with my family and bunch of friends, with younger and hungry, for brunch and was delighted with the service, quality of food, environment and how host treated us. She was happy to bring quick food for the youngest members of the group. She was happy to explain about all the questions our group have about food or otherwise. Food was above standard quality standards and we have very good overall experience.”

“Taqueria el Amigo has awesome food. I like the Tortas (a Mexican sandwich). My favorite Torta is the Cuban that has steak, ham, sausage, and even a fried egg. The prices are very good and the resturant is very clean. Taqueria el Amigo is a little hidden off Atlanta Hwy but well worth a visit.”

“I've been eating at both our spots especially the original spot since 1997 or 98. It's awesome, it's real, one of the best places to eat in Gainesville. And to anybody that would consider Taco Bell the big Mexican foods out of their mind. The place is the place to go. Be back again soon thanks for your hard work.”
