El Agave Mexican Restaurant

Cold Beer and Delicious food. That gets nearly 5 stars. The service was TERRIBLE and that affects my rating. Our waitress was often MIA and never returned to check on us after she brought our food out. We literally had to find her in order to place our beer order.

Food was good for the price and the order was complete including silverware. The wait was a little longer than expected, it was a Friday night, so all in all good. happy with the service worth it when the food and the order was right.

The food was good. The hot plate foods we're very hot. The chunky guacamole I thought lacked flavor but the rest of the group ready liked it.

I ordered the rib eye steak, medium well and added grilled shrimp. The steak tasted great, the only problem I had was it was cooked a little under. I added pictures to show. I also ordered flan. That was the best part of my dinner! Made perfectly! Could do without the whipped cream on top. The chips that were included are not seasoned so I'm not a fan. Most people dip them in salsa so they don't notice. Everything was packaged very well!

I HATE Mexican food but my boyfriend drug me here. I had never even been inside before but I've patronized the restaurant beside them for years. I've seen them host bingo and live entertainment outside on the patio before and said I'd go but I just never made it in. But he wanted to eat there and walked in and asked them if he purchased a meal would they allow me to eat food from another restaurant inside. They said yes, which was highly unusual. So now i was intrigued. But when i went in i was blown away by the warm, friendly, inviting atmosphere and gorgeous decor! I was creatively inspired by a painting in their hallway leading to the restrooms. Also, the restroom was clean and modern.The hostess was very friendly and i felt comfortable immediately. Then i heard Selena playing....I was in HEAVEN lol! I even saved the meal i just bought from the other restaurant and bought one from them. If i didn't have to go to work, i would've definitely tried their drink specials. But the food was delicious and hot. The servers were nice and the service was fast.
