“I visited this place for the first time a couple of nights ago and it was great. The bartender was friendly and recommended a great drink. I also ordered a California roll and a shrimp tempura roll. The shrimp tempura was extremely good and everything was about $23. The decor was cool here as well. Will definitely be back again.”

“Delicious & Quick service for what looked to be a busy Sunday lunch crowd. My husband and I had the chicken and dressing, although no ones dressing is as good as mama's, as they say, it was good. The chicken and gravy, collards and sweet potato souffle brought me home to Thanksgiving dinner. Loved it and can't wait to have to loosen my belt for the next experience of dunking their perfect cornbread into the collards.”

“This place is AWESOME!! I met the owner when he was in Lithonia. Glad he has a roof now. ALL the food is amazing!!! From the ribs being so tender that they fall off the bone to the lobster mac that just melts in your mouth. The chicken is juicy, the baked beans are sweet and tangy, the sausage with the peppers, OMG and the sauce. I don't know what's in it but there's just enough heat and sweet. SO much better than "This is it" that they made them move from Panola Rd because they were taking ALL their business away! They also have doordash, so I can order from anywhere now. This place is extremely clean, the burning wood smell permiates the air and once inside, your mouth is watering so bad you're trying not to drool and order at the same time. No matter where you are, you need to make sure when you're in McDonough to stop by this place. The food will amaze you, I promise you won't be disappointed!”

“Update: The owner dead reached out to me. And told me that they had a family emergency. And they couldn't make it to the restaurant to put a sign on the door. That was very professional and honorable of him. He also offered me a 10-piece Wing meal. So yesterday my daughter and I went to The restaurant for dinner the atmosphere was beautiful. The chicken wings were a little small, but they were delicious. The fry okra was fresh. The owners are very personable. He came out and introduced himself. He talked to us and told us that him and his wife. Did everything in the restaurant they put the floors down their self they? Installed the customer service counter the coolers the tables everything. I did promise him that I would come back and try some other things so I do plan on going back. I definitely would recommend this place to family and friends. End of update I cannot stand when I go to restaurants to try to show my support and the sign on the door says Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and it is 1:38 on a Monday and the restaurant is completely closed. “New place in my area and this is the first time that I'm trying it out. When I looked at the menu I saw that they had baklava. Which I've been wanting for the longest especially for a place in my city to have it on the menu. So I went the next day! I was in limbo with either picking the chicken pita or the salmon pita and I went with the salmon. I'm really glad that I chose the salmon and not the chicken because the salmon was banging and you can never go wrong with chicken so I would have played it safe... When I finish ordering my mail came out about 8 minutes which was great the salmon with cooked perfect and was warm. I also ordered The Baklava cheesecake only because when the cashier pointed out the baklava it was in the refrigerator and I'm used to baklava being room temperature with the honey. The Baklava cheesecake was okay I was still missing that honey. Maybe next time I'll go for the regular baklava and hope that they add the honey to it... I don't know but the salmon Pita definitely won me over. This is a new restaurant so it is very clean the workers are very attentive Once you walk in the door they greet you. “We are so happy Miss Gogi has opened a second location right here in Henry County! Miss Cleo has made sure our experience is stellar every week we’ve come. The marinated meats are balanced and unbelievably well cut portions. The sides are evolving, fresh and classic. The entire experience is a lesson in true hospitality and the experience of another culture without having to travel north. Reasonably affordable but with quality like this, I really wouldn’t care. My new favorite spot and as I look around at the crowded, Tuesday night dining room, I’m not alone.”

“When I say the food is delish!!!!! I went here for the first time and I must say I was impressed!!!! Their fried garlic corn on the cob is a must you try it. Their wings are cooked to perfection. They even have gizzards on the menu. I haven't tried them yet, but I plan on it. Also if you go try their strawberry short cake. Very yummy. They'll be changing their name though because I guess some people are sensitive about the name of the restaurant. So much more things to worry and gripe about besides a name of an eatery.....any who try them out and thank me later.”

“Love this place! They go above and beyond catering to you. It’s so difficult to find a restaurant or any place to eat out at that understands what someone with a “vegan” diet can and cannot eat. You can tell they do not use any: meat, milk, eggs, dairy or any animal products whatsoever if you request them not to because I don’t leave feeling nauseous. Also when I say they personally cater to you, I literally mean they’ll make your order custom with no hesitations even if it’s not on the menu!”

“Visited for the first time a month ago, let me say it was delicious and the best experience I have ever had in a crowded busy restaurant!! When we arrived the wait “line” was out the door. It was dinner rush on a Saturday night, we expected it to be busy, so we didn't mind. A manager came outside and apologized to everyone for the wait, which we had only been waiting about 10 mins at that point. He then went back inside and after that people started being called to be seated very quickly. He took initiative and that was awesome to see. Our waitress was great and had no problem in explaining how to order. We both ordered a margarita and they were on point, definitely what I expect for a $12 drink. The juicy wings were so good. For them to be in a bag covered in sauce they still were very crispy. All of the seafood was great and tasted fresh! For the restaurant to be super busy, our service was great! Since our first visit we have called in a take out order of juicy wings twice, and they are just as good!! It is a bit pricey, if I’m being honest, but I do 100% think it is worth it, and of course we will be back!”

“We just happened into this place on our way to our campground. First, the customer service was great, hard to find these days. The establishment was clean. The food? The food was fresh and tasted very good. I ordered the 1/4lb turkey burger with sweet potato fries. It was delicious the season of the meat was phenomenal. My husband had the 1/2lb burger. They also have the Impossible burger for all my fellow vegans/vegetarians out there (a fact I didn’t discover until after I sat down). We were very impressed and will definitely return when we are in the area!”
