“This is a cute hole in the wall mom and pop shop. Started off as a food truck and now it’s inside of a old house that’s been renovated to be a restaurant. This was my first time here and the owner, Mr. Melvin was super kind and guided me towards the Mac and cheese and oyster mushrooms. I’ve never had oyster mushroom before and these were a home run!!! They’re batter is very flavorful and light - almost tempura like but with a kick. Also, the texture of my head mushrooms are kinda chewy but in a good way. And the mushrooms are served with a delicious dipping sauce - almost like a vegan version of Zax Sauce from Zaxby’s. I’m very weary of vegan Mac and cheese bc it can go very very very wrong. But I must say this mac and cheese went very very very right!! It’s very flavorful and made with love. It’s a little symphony of spice in your mouth. He and his family recently relocated to the McDonough area and My tastebuds are so glad that they did!! It’s a versatile spot bc they serve vegan and non vegan food, but Mr. Melvin has assured me that they are very mindful of cross contamination and cook everything on separate surfaces and in separate oil. I’d definitely recommend this place to vegans and non vegans alike! It’s super affordable and the portion sizes are well worth the price. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items off the menu.”

“What a great experience! It was only day two of opening and our food all came out fantastically and ordering was a bit slow but nothing that won’t sort out as everyone (employees and customers) get used to the flow. There’s lots of stuff to look at as you figure out what you want to eat and lots of market and produce items to grab as well. We loved it! I didn’t get many photos of food because my kids were scarfing it fast but the onion rings were fab (a light airy batter which is my fave), and the kids loved their home fries and grilled cheese and hotdog. Oh, and my vegetable beef soup was just like grandma used to make. We will be back!”

“The food was unbelievable good. I ordered the Smoked Turkey Legs with cabbage, Black Eye Peas and Rice with cornbread simply delicious. My boyfriend had the Baked Chicken, Mac & Cheese Black Eye Peas and Potato Salad. And It was AMAZING. It was so good we got a peach cobblers for desert. Had to take one to go. You must try it!!”

“I have been to a lot of Jamaican restaurant but I have never seen a restaurant so clean with great service. The food is really great! Definitely the best in the Atlanta area. The Oxtail, Stew Peas, Curry Goat and Conch soup is off the chain. Try it for your self and you will see what I mean. Definitely one of the best Jamaican restaurant to go to when in Atlanta. Also, want to mention that the owner is a retired U.S. Soldier and the place reflects his character. Keep up the good work Jamaica Finest. :-).”

Got the snow crab legs (house seasoning mild) and shrimp (butter garlic) House seasoning was the better of the 2 seasonings! Will definitely be caming back! Listen I'm haven't even received the food I ordered yet, but the patience, joy, and happiness that radiated from the person who answered the phone was enough to make me want to order and tell a friend. I called during peak hours 6pm with questions. I was greeted with warmth and answers to my questions. This restaurant knows how to do business. I will update this once food arrives but here's what I ordered: 1. Fried Shrimp and Fries (for my 5 year old son) 2. Salmon Bites (Mac & Rice) 3. Vanilla Cupcakes 4. Lemonade Everything tasted great. The staff is so kind and gave us good recommendations of what to try since it was our first time there. The smoothies were SO tasty and FRESH! We also had the broccoli twist salad which was also very fresh and delicious. The owners were so kind and even took the time to introduce themselves, we loved that! “If you looking for some good soul food this is the place to be. I got the Turkey wing, greens and mac and cheese. The Turkey wing was so good and tender. The greens brought back old memories. I tried to take a picture of my meal but I ate it so fast. I did happen to get a picture of my wife’s plate. She got the catfish and yams. I highly recommend this spot.”
