Props Steak and Seafood Restaurant

I think this is becoming my new favorite restaurant in the area. The Afterburner burger was the best I've had in town, maybe ever. The tiramisu was soft, moist and the coffee flavor just right. The sides are also just as good as the entrees. They appear to put equal attention to detail in everything the make. This time I got the Red Fish with creol gravy and brussel sprouts with prosciutto, and I added the sweet potato casserole. It was all excellent.

The crab cakes appetizer was great, it comes on a bed of onion and corn salad with a mustard based sauce that has a bit of heat too it that will likely be polarizing on who would like it. I found it to be quite good when paired with the crab cake but the person I was with did not care for it. The crab cakes stood quite well on their own though and with how they are served it's easy enough to separate. The staff was nice and attentive. The only drawback was the shrimp I had ordered was well overcooked, seasoned well, but definitely overcooked. From what I've heard of this place that is not the norm, so I will try again and either 5 star or 3 star this review accordingly. The sides were typical fare, good fries and coleslaw.

Took forever to get into the place on a Tuesday night and we even had reservations. Still waited for about 45 minutes. But the food was amazing. It turned out to be worth the wait. The sea scallops meal was absolutely amazing. The calamari was really good with the accompanying sauce. I tried my friend's pasta and it was probably the best thing I had. Can't remember what it was called. But it had red sauce and blackened chicken.

First let me start off by saying this place is so people friendly! The workers the owner’s are so awesome. The moment you step through the doors you’re greeted with smiles! Customer service at its best!!

Now on to the food.... I flew from Baltimore to try the food because I follow their Facebook page and the owners son that’s a pilot for the airline I work for is always telling me to come try it and I’m glad I did!

The food is better than I was expected! It’s by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to the food is full of flavor, fresh and you can tell it’s cooked with a lot of creativity and love. One of The best place I’ve eaten so far. will definitely be back soon!

This is awesome. Food was so great. Very friendly with great waitress ( Meagan). I would encourage everyone to try it out. Will definitely be back to eat.
