Jacks in gray was really packs this Tuesday afternoon the day after it opened, but considering the wait time because they were extremely busy, the food was cooked really well, our order was took properly, and very friendly staff at the drive threw and the window. Mr Toney who worked at the window was professional, Jacks Is still working out the kinks with wait time but overall rating 8/10”

“Onion rings appear to be frozen not homemade, fried pickles were good but the batter wasn’t cooked all the way and not very crunchy, fried shrimp was rubbery and too crunchy (overcooked), grilled shrimp was waaay too salty but cooked right, fish tacos weren’t bad but the bang bang sauce was very sweet and not very good, and the mac and cheese was super dry and flavorless. Polite staff and nice location but the price ($80) for four people was too much for the low quality of the food. I know they’re new so hopefully they improve with time. We’ll give em another shot in 6 months or so.They get 3 stars for the friendly staff, otherwise would of been a 2.”

“I used to eat at Chevy’s when it was on Highway 49 back in the late 90’s. So when we were in Jones County during the Christmas holidays, my daughter and I decided to pull in for lunch. We were not disappointed. I had the house salad and she had the Philly steak and cheese. The atmosphere is nice, the restrooms are clean, and the people are friendly. Since then we have returned 4 times to eat lunch. Each time we are completely satisfied. It’s the best place in Gray for sure, and is now our “go to”place when we are out and about. I really like the owner Chevy. I recommend”

“I was outside doing some woodworking outside for a few hours and decided to stop by here for a meal on my break. I ordered a half chicken, ribs, and Brunswick stew. Everything was good but the ribs were GREAT! Huge hulking pieces of pork! Delicious Smokey flavor all the way through! Meat started falling off the bone as soon as I unwrapped it and started eating. I gave it a splash of the pretty tart vinegar based sauce. The smokey flavor still came through with every bite. Since moving to Georgia I've had barbecue at almost 50 places atleast. These were the best pork ribs I've ever had at a restaurant. Five Stars!!!”
