“The donuts were dry, the iced latte was served black by default(didn’t ask if I wanted sugar) and they didn’t even ask if I wanted my receipt (which, after that visit, I definitely wanted to leave a review). For 9 am, I’m very surprised that the donuts didn’t taste fresh. The people were friendly and gave me excellent customer service when I went back in, but the food? Awful.”

“EDIT 04/19/2018: This Subway is under new ownership now and I have not gotten a chance to check if it’s better. I would assume it is. ———————————————————————- I have eaten at this location for years but also eat at the location on North Grove st (literally around the corner). This location in the Walmart has gone downhill. The only positive is that the staff is very friendly and nice. The restaurant itself is messy as there was food on the floor and a big spill right where the line is supposed to stand. This is the first time I’ve seen the restaurant in this condition. However my biggest complaint is that I found a dime sized piece of hard plastic in my sandwich. Totally not ok! It was fairly sharp too!”

“Overall, a typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. Good prices and good food. The egg drop soup and sweet/sour chicken could have been a little more flavorful. The pad Thai and hot and sour soup was delicious. You get plenty of food for a good price. From one entree, I have enough for two meals. Fast and friendly service. Definitely recommend over the Chinese buffet nearby.”

“A varied experience. Food was delicious, except the dirty rice was very undercooked. I especially liked the plantains and the mac and cheese. We had dinner reservations for a large group, and several of our seats were non-existent. They didn't factor in that children needed a place to sit, so me, my husband, and all of our kids were left standing (crawling, climbing) around while the adults were seated and chairs were fetched from upstairs. The table we were seated at was unstable and the top was attached to the crooked leg with duct tape. We received only plates and forks while everyone else in our group had those as well as drinks, napkins, and knives. We had to stop a server and request the rest of these things. Another person in our group saw a server drop 3 desserts, walk back to the kitchen with them, then turn around and serve them...Some of the servers seemed very inexperienced, others were great. “Saturday night was a great evening. We shared several appetizers and the catfish dinner. The food was delicious. That particular evening was karaoke night and the entertainment was really good. “When we first saw this place two years ago, there wasn't much to it. We watched it each time we passed by and it looked as if nothing was changing or looking to change. Then we drove by in June to see a massive crowd. Cars everywhere, people everywhere. We wanted to stop, but it was just way too many people. We kept it in mind and visited early on a weeknight. We were impressed! The food was amazing and everyone was very kind. The fries were the best part of our visit! The outside seating looked nice as well, but it was pretty warm, so we sat inside. It filled up shortly after we got there. I can now see why the crowd gets raging. A wonderful place to stop.”

I lo e the people as they are positive and listening to the senior men talk, brings back memories to me when I was raised on many farms.
