The Catch 22 Gastropub

The food was mediocre. I ordered a burger. The meat was good, but overall the burger was dry, particularly the bun. The fries and potato salad were both good. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich. The meat was a bit tough, but overall had good flavor. For the price, not worth it. We likely won't be returning.

Very interesting flavors but the food needed something. The tacos needed crunch, the fried chicken sandwich was on a heavy biscuit with no sauce or dressing. Very flavorful, just not thought through. At least what I had tonight. Shows potential.

What a place to eat!! You gotta love bacon because they specialize in bacon. The special Honey Habanero BBQ sandwich was amazing. Another gotta try is the Fish n Chips. We ordered the Pretzel as our starter, the wasabi honey mustard sauce made this gigantic pretzel a meal in itself! If you love beer, come early and try any of their 50+.
All in all this is a must eat at in Athens...AND it is Veteran owned...

I've passed this restaurants multiple times but never thought to stop until I had a friend in from out of town. I liked that the decor was simple and clean with a relaxed feel to it. We loved that the menu was easy to understand and had lots of tasty options to choose from. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Good food came here with some new friends. The burger was delicious. They have a cool little idea where you can have the chef surprise you on what you get to eat. A fun idea for the bold and adventurous.
