The chicken salad leave a lot to be desired, a bit like canned dry tuna, however I'll try food again as I'm guessing this is going to only get better because food menu just got started. “This cute cafe is in a pretty village shopping center at the top of a hill overlooking Lake Oconnee. It's not close enough to have lakeside views, but within a few minutes after breakfast you could be on the lake. We had the egg and bacon croissant and a slice of their award winning quiche. The food was fresh and excellent, especially the quiche. The service was prompt and friendly. Everything was great, except the coffee was weak and watery. In all we had a good breakfast.”

“Absolutely amazing. These girls have it going on! I ordered the rube salad and my guys and gals, it was incredible. The steak was tender. Not a single piece of romaine brown. Fresh tomato. Solid proteins in this salad. Must have! I also ordered the mellow master drink with tequila and blue curaçoa. Let me tell you. One completely "mellowed" me out. Could NOT recommend this place more. The portions were HUGE. Makes zaxby's salads look like a side salad. 100% recommend giving this place an opportunity. There is plenty of parking in the back so don't be deterred by the thoughts of parallel parking. Even if all THOSE parking places were full, it is completely worth the stress of parallel parking. Really! Not even playing! Give this hip little café a shot! You won't be sorry. They have coffee too! Get that energy shot!”

“Much needed nice new Mexican restaurant in the downtown area. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in surrounding areas but this on has a unique fresh flavors form the cheese dip to the loaded tortillas on my burrito la carbon. My wife’s quesadilla had a cool edible bowl with all the condiments. Prices were very reasonable. The service was outstanding and very friendly. There is s small bar in the back of the dining area. The atmosphere is typical Mexican fare. Parking is on the street, but you should be able to find s spot within a block or two.”

“Hard to give anything less than 5 stars during the Covid-19 situation. Unfortunately this bistro is having a grand opening and have not established a clientele or reputation. We picked up a great lunch of blackened chicken and tuna melt sandwiches with fried and Mac and cheese. Portions are generous and the food is delicious, with the blackened chicken spiced beautifully. We picked up food and saw how the tables have been spaced apart for social distancing (room looks empty). Nice bar area. Ample parking.”

“This is a real deal backwoods southern BBQ joint. Off the highway in the actual woods. Looks sketchy but OMG, the owner is a lovely man who used to be a county commissioner, and the food is great. Five stars for the pulled pork and pulled turkey. Sat around talking economics and politics with the owner and his neighbor who dropped by. Well worth the detour.”

“Food was okay... It was the first time there and when we first pulled in the entrance to the handicapped parking was blocked by a vehicle. My boyfriends 91yr old grandmother has a hard time walking and had to use the steps because we had to park in regular parking. The food was okay... We had the fish dinner. I'd like to try something else if we decide to give it another try. I would definitely like to see more interaction from the staff with customers. We left a nice tip just to realize we actually had to wait on ourselves. We even had to clean up our own tables. I thought that's what tipping is for??? Anyways, now that the routine is known we know what to do the next time we go in. IF we decide to try it out again.”
