“The Spotted Pig is a great BBQ restaurant. They have indoor seating as well as a large patio. The service was quick and attentive. My husband and I had the dry rub ribs. They were fall off the bone and didn’t need sauce. The sides (okra, beans, Mac n cheese, and potato salad) were a tasty addition. I recommend for delicious BBQ.”

“Just outside of downtown Clayton is a seriously amazing restaurant. The Roadhouse was loaded with phenomenal food! The Sloppy Joe was fabulous with a bourbon BBQ style sauce. The Swayze burger was juicy and extremely flavorful. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. Seriously, take any recommendation as they all will be worth a taste. With great music, fun decor, and tons of entertainment, this was a perfect stop for lunch on our day trip.”

“Food was was great. Got the molcajete. Never had tried that anywhere but it was lights out. Service and food were slow while it wasn't busy and there seemed to be plenty of service staff.. I was inside on first floor and there was little atmosphere to speak of, no music, soccer on the TVs . Roof top probably would have been way better, but it was a bit chilly. Might upgrade to 5 stars if I visit again and the service a bit better.”

“We came on Father's Day at 12:30 expecting to wait a bit. Walked in and were seated at the last open table. Service was quick and friendly. Food was amazing. The atmosphere is quirky and fun. We didnt get the pancakes but after seeing them served to someone else wanted them. Pancakes alone would make a meal. Our family had steak and eggs, chicken fried chicken, a burger and all American breakfast. The only thing that wasn't the best we have ever eaten were the grits that were a little to thick for my daughters liking but the flavor was still good. We were just traveling through but cant wait to return.”

Since I just made home cooked burgers last night and was worried that I wouldn't want to cook at home ever again if I ordered my favorite burger, I went with something else, something new. I was NOT disappoint at all. The Fajita Nacho was super tasty! The steak and chicken was tender and seasoned nicely and the cheese sauce was awesome! My goodness, how am I going to choose between this and the 3 cheese burger when we visit next time? Service was even better than last time. Our waitress remembered us and even commented on my change of food. Thank you so much for the welcoming feeling. We WILL be back again! “This is such an awesome place! The atmosphere, the owners, the teens working there... it’s really relaxing and fun! Your dogs are welcome to come too. Last night we stopped for ice cream and sat outside because we had our lab, Coal. The owner came out and gave Coal a snack and some love! Another day we went for lunch and sat on the patio. Although it is on the south end of Main Street, it gives the atmosphere of privacy and peace! The food and atmosphere make it a definite DO NOT MISS in Clayton!”
