Made from scratch! Excellent service with friendly smile! Right across the street from beautiful ocean.
I tried mild spicy garlic shrimps here and those were the most delicious shrimps me and my husband have ever had. We've had Giovanni's garlic shrimps the same day on our road trip and those were harder, not so juicy and not as delicious as Shrimp Shack's. Also, the ladies working here are super nice, there is no line and prices are lower. It's close to a shrimp farm so it's fresh and delicious. There are chairs and table on a beach across the street that you can sit on and inside seating area next to the truck. Definitely must try in Oahu.
This place had been and continues to be my favorite place for spicy garlic shrimp on the North Shore. The shrimp here is tender and well cooked, the garlic butter sauce has a tiny touch of sweetness that complements the shrimp, and the spice level can be customized to your liking.
When you order, they will give you a table marker. TIP: look across the street and see if anyone is sitting at the table next to the beach, and if not, ask for your order beach side. They will run it over to you and you will have awesome views while chowing down on your delicious food.
There are restrooms inside the convenience store if needed. They also seem to have add a little stereo by the tables for some jams while you eat if you do it store side. CASH ONLY. ATM is available in the grocery store if needed.
Yum! What a cute little food truck with fantastic flavors. Give me all the shrimp! We got the coconut and garlic shrimp and shared both. They were served over rice and with sauce and butter on the side. The shrimp was really tasty and felt like an amazing home cooked meal. Just remember to bring cash because they don't always accept credit cards. There's also a little convenience store 10 feet away which you can grab drinks, etc. Definitely glad we found this little gem.
