expensive with average food. didnt love it.
service quite good. $42 roasted chicken, yikes. Maui onion soup good. salad average. crab cakes average too. not sure I can recommend.
Gorgeous and delicious.... The property was very tastefully decorated for Christmas. The setting of the restaurant on the beach is second to none. If you are on the veranda the scenery is just as beautiful as on the terrace. There was live music with a hula dancer when we dined on Sunday evening. As is the case we found with many of the restaurants in Waikiki, the kids meals were healthy and nicely done. My son had salmon, veggies and rice and soy milk. My daughter had whole wheat pasta. I am a vegetarian trying not to eat dairy and my meal was delicious and met all the requirements. As usual in much of Waikiki for beachfront or ocean-side especially, reservations, reservations, reservations. Admittedly this is holiday season.
Great experience. Good food. Spectacular views.
The steak was absolutely perfect and our server was wonderful. Going about 45 minutes before sunset was the perfect time. We had a great server who offered to take our picture and everything.
Four stars instead of five because even though we made the reservation well in advanced for our wedding night, they would not save the oceanfront table for us. That was a pretty big disappointment on your wedding day. I would probably reserve elsewhere if I had to do it again.
Great location with an excellent view of the ocean. Cocktails are well made and stiff enough to not make you lament the prices. The food, while certainly good, doesn't quite live up to the cost. It is presented nicely though! Recommend the lobster bisque, it's a hearty soup with large pieces of actual lobster. Do not recommend the short rib ragu, it does taste good, but there really isn't much meat included for the price.
