The place, the team, the atmosphere is number ONE on this island. MASTER at the top of his game! Star of the HIand original sushi experience! Ray of the sushi!
Easily the best sushi I have ever had. Really great experience learning about how the sushi is made but the exploration of flavors was really out of this world. Highly recommend for any sushi lover--you must try this at least once!
Easily a Michelin-tier experience here, on par w/ top omakase spots anywhere. Fish is imported fresh from Japan, quality is excellent as expected. Chef Ray is a cool dude, funny and kept it real. Knife skills and dish presentation both A+. It was apparent that he is highly dedicated to the craft. I wish him great success and would definitely recommend trying this place.
We travel the world and love Japan. Out of all of our travels, we have never had a more delightful experience! The owner, chef, Ray clearly has a gift. The food was exceptional! The flavors and presentation were a treat at each course. We couldn’t have had a better night. Thanks!
Exceptional ingredients artfully constructed. The chef has 22 years of experience - most of it acquired in Japan - but he’s not too bound by tradition. Quality comes at a price though. Omakase seatings must be reserved. They have one seating at 5:30 and another at 8. The second seating is longer.
