    The meal was passable but that is all. I could not recommend this place. High prices at Waikiki area and mediocre food made this not a memorable meal. The place is also very difficult to find - you can not take a direct route there. Not worth the effort.

    I knew this would be a different Kapanese restaurant when I called to make a reservation, and the person answered with two or three sentences in Japanese. I’m clad I persisted. Hard to find (in the Sheraton Waikiki, down a hall and upstairs). Service was alternately iffy and solicitous. But the food was superb. Among the best nigiri I’ve had.

    food is very delicious and portion big. price is surprisingly reasonable! service very good.

    Authentic traditional Japanese food as well as delicious sushi rolls, etc. The atmosphere and service were terrific; our party of 11 was served promptly and well. Went twice (once in the morning and once at night) and was fantastic on both occasions.
