Boise Stage Stop

I came to this place because a friend of mine told me that the food was pretty good . I read the reviews and after seeing the comment of someone that complained because they don’t offer people free coffee (crazy, right! 😮) or that there’s a strong odor here, I told the wife and kids that we needed to ignore that and to come check it out ourselves. There was no bad odors whatsoever, and the waitress we had (her name is Gabby) was super nice and sweet to my wife and very professional. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner that came with mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and a dinner roll. Well people, I’m happy to say that this food was beyond good. My kiddos who are picky eaters finished their food here. Also, the staff is extremely kind and they greeted us with a smile. This will definitely be a place we stop at when we go camping.

Our full-time road family @Buslivin had transmission issues rolling into this travel center.

Jessie the manager was understanding, helpful and courteous to us the entire time we were stuck there.

This place had everything we needed. They have clean restrooms, clean, hot shower, hot food both in the service station and in the fully-loaded restaurant.

Food was so good! Iv passed this truck stop for years and finally stopped more than worth it!!! I will be stopping from now on. They serve alcohol as well, steak and shrimp was perfect after a long day. Everyone was super friendly tons of parking.

This is a great place to eat at. I came here because I’ve always seen it and wanted to stop. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. It’s a large sized piece of meat. They serve it out on a platter sized plate and between the chicken fried steak and the sides, it fills up the whole plate. This meal could be easily be for two people. The gravy is hot and very flavorful, country style so it has little bits of sausage here and there. The meal is $20 so it’s a little more on the pricy side, but if you like chicken fried steak it’s a must. The other people I was with ordered the pastrami sandwiches, those were very good. Full of meat and sauerkraut. The very good grub. There are many spots to sit and maybe not enough staff for when the place gets real busy. Our meal here took just over than hour. So if you are looking for a quick stop for a bite, you may be a little disappointed. However, if you want a little rest before continuing your journey, this is an ideal watering hole. Very old fashion looking inside which gives the place a lot of character. Overall, I recommend the Boise Stage Stop.

I've never stopped here until today, even though I had wondered about it for years.

GIAGANTIC LOT. A huge part of it is paved and the dirt part isn't too bad in my opinion.

The store is a normal truck stop store and the restaurant was decent. The employees were really great.
