For starters, the food is amazing. The rolls were absolutely delicious. What makes this my new go-to sushi place, though, was the staff. Those three individuals working tonight are phenomenal. They were very busy but handled everything professionally and respectfully and displayed a great work ethic. Hats off to the crew. They deserve a lot of credit!

Holy freaking heck. New favorite sushi spot in the treasure valley! Dined in for date night and we were so pleasantly surprised. As others have mentioned it is small, we ended up sitting on a picnic bench outside. Service was great. And... The sushi was AMAZING!!! I specifically have to point out the portion size/value and quality/freshness. We ordered a dragon roll and the yellowtail nigiri (pictured) as well as the big island roll, basic tuna roll, and the crunchy tempura shrimp roll. Bill was about $50 for 5 rolls before tip (March 2024).

First thing to keep in mind is this place is very small. Only 4 half picnic benches and rail seating. The small room echoes a lot so it gets really LOUD. With that being said, the service was GREAT. The host/server was very attentive and friendly. The food is excellent! We only had a few of the options but we really liked what we ordered. The poke bowl was my favorite!! I only had two sushi experiences in Boise, but this is the better choice!!

Very small and intimate restaurant that makes up for its size in its food and service. Plenty of sushi rolls to choose from without the menu being overwhelming like some other restaurants. The sushi was great, the beer was cold, and the sake was hot. We had a great experience and have found our new go-to sushi joint.

This is THE new sushi spot in town you NEED to try!

I ordered takeout via phone and the gentleman who took my order was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke very clearly - which I greatly appreciated. We ordered 4 rolls and it only took 15 minutes for our order on a Friday evening!

The actual restaurant is in a small hole-in-the-wall spot off Eagle Road with picnic tables for seating, so don't go here expecting a fancy upscale sushi bar. I personally love the limited seating, as I feel it gives the chef enough time to produce fresh, extremely high quality sushi for each customer.

My boyfriend and I have a very high bar for sushi, and this place passes with flying colors! Everything was fresh and artfully crafted, and the to-go packaging was secure so all of the rolls looked perfect when we got home. The pick-up process was easy and we didn't have to wait in line which was awesome. The same guy who took my order grabbed my takeout, and he was just as nice in person as he was over the phone!

I really enjoyed the variety of flavors in each roll, and they actually withstood being dipped in soy sauce without falling apart. My personal favorite was the Crunchy California Roll, and I also highly recommend the Philly, Mango, Dynamite, and Dragon rolls. Overall, it was a fantastic first time experience and we can't wait to return soon!

*UPDATE - November 2022: Went back recently to dine-in and it was just as great as last time! AND they've added beautiful artwork to the walls, which really adds to the lovely ambiance.
