Sushi Shack

Excellent sushi and apps! The fish was tender and the potstickers were perfectly cooked! Service was slow but I know they were short staffed in the beginning so I don't feel like I can accurately rate service. Staff was friendly and it was fun to sit outside! The menu is labeled with GF options which is SUPER helpful!!

EPIC - one of the overall best sushi restaurants I've eaten at in years!!!
My background:
-have been eating sushi for 20+ years.
-we took beginner and intermediate sushi making courses 15+ years ago.
-have been wowing family and friends with our at-home sushi making parties.
-have eaten fresh sushi from Baja California and Hawaii.
-have reeled in a bluefin tuna and eaten it fresh off the boat.

Ok, now for the details. This place doubles as a bar/hop house and sushi joint. Has two-levels; one is 21+ and the other for all ages/families. We ate in the upstairs section and the music varied from classic rock to hip-hop with some choice language (not sure if the family section had different tunes?). Overall it was a nice vibe at 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday.

The food:
-presentation was top-tier.
-pricing was reasonable for the portions, ingredients and flavor provided.
-food came fast, but we were the first ones there.
-we were literally blown away by the flavor of the "Bombshell" & "Nemo" rolls.
-the third roll was the "Scalloped", and while it was still a good roll, it lacked the depth of flavor the other two rolls.

The two of us each had a beverage.
With 20% tip, it was $82.
BONUS: they provided a military discount!

Summary: will be going there again to try other rolls. Sooner than later. Two thumbs up

Really good sushi and pot stickers. The fish is very thinly sliced but the flavor of the rolls are unique and good. Small space but good vibe. Great service

My business partners birthday was last week and we decided to celebrate her lunch with sushi. I cannot express how awesome the sushi shack is, how fast their to go orders are, and how polite they were with the pick up. Thank you for being awesome!!!!

We hosted an interactive sushi making evening at our house for 4 people and couldn't recommend the team at Sushi Sack more! They're friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and the food was delicious! We will definitely be doing this again for special occasions, and will make it a point to dine in at Sushi Shack and/or Lost Shack whenever possible.
