The Local Cone

Love their shakes and froyo! If you’re getting ice cream, their bubble cone is a great way to go! Friendly staff and a cute little place! Our family LOVES it!

I decided to take my niece and nephew out for a Sunday drive, and (somehow) they came up with the idea to go get ice cream. The Local Cone instantly came to mind, as I’ve heard nothing but good things, so we decided to go there! Not only was the ice cream delicious, but it was surrounded by food trucks (which if I had known that, I would’ve taken them there for lunch too).

The ice cream was delicious, and being the good uncle I am, I let them try the froyo too because who cares about crazed sugar high kids when you can be the favorite uncle and take them back to their parents :)

Lastly, the service was awesome, the owner was super gracious in giving me, what seemed like, a full roll of paper towels to wipe the sugary evidence off of their faces. Not to mention the fact that the owner did a little bit of juggling, and I don’t know for sure if she was just showing off for the kiddos or not, but they were incredibly amused. The kids are excited to go back, and I am too! Definitely worth the drive from Spokane if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing day.

Food trucks galore! This ice cream is amazing.. there is soft serve, regular scoops and milkshakes.
Ton of food truck options, even better than Cda or Hayden! I can’t wait to try them all!
