“I’ve been to Rowan’s a few times and am always impressed. If you have ever been to Hawaii you will be familiar with the plate lunch : meat, rice, Mac salad. Also spam musubi. And poke. Rowan’s has it all - their Kailua pork, seaweed salad, are so good. And you can eat it as you gaze into the beautiful blue waters. Probably the closes to Hawaii you’ll get in Idaho!”

“Not only are the staff here absolutely lovely, the burgers and shakes are fantastic. My family had a bacon cheeseburger, a hot dog and a cheeseburger with fries and 2 of us ordered milkshakes (toasted marshmallow and chocolate w/toasted marshmallow) and it was less than $35! I would highly recommend this for a quick, family friendly, kid approved meal!”

“Slow service at lunch. But the food was yummy by and large. Smoked brisket sandwich was excellent. Pass on the pretzel appetizer. A couple of ceiling fans in the outdoor seating area would have been transformative on a hot day. We’ll be back for sure. Really fun parking the boat on the dock and walking up for a meal. The dock assistants were incredibly helpful and friendly and active.”

“Giorgi's has several locations (Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Athol, & Rathdrum) each with their own atmosphere and slightly different offerings. I suggest you give each one a try. They offer a variety of wild game and exotic meats nowhere else around here has. I stopped in on my way home from a rather aweful day and was craving comfort food. On a whim, I stopped downtown Spirit Lake because I knew there were several drinking establishments in close proximity to choose from that also serve food. To my surprise and delight I saw that Giorgi's opened up where Messy's used to reside. I used to visit the Rathdrum location off and on for breakfast but have never tried a lunch selection since G.W. Hunters burned down in Post Falls. Totally worth the stop! Their burgers are wonderful! Do ask the staff where they procure their beef from. I was pleasantly surprised as it's a mix. They are cooked to your liking and even though I ordered mine done with a crunchy exterior, it was still juicy. Do grab plenty of napkins as you'll use them. They use Daily's bacon so you know it's gonna be good. The fries were crisp and fluffy and the perfect portion. I only wish I had more room to fit in a shake as they serve Cascade Glacier ice cream too! If you've not tried it, yer in for a real treat. It isn't for sale in stores and only available in small establishments from what I've been able to find. The 2 guys who were working there not only did a great job in customer service and made me feel welcome but lifted me out of my bad spirits I came in with. I'm absolutely terrible with names so forgive me. The only reason I didn't 5 star this is because of their need for a better/bigger exhaust system. The whole place smelled like grease and so did I by the time I left. Perhaps get an order to go if that bothers you or sit outside in Summer. I can't wait to return!”

“My grandson is off to college and stopped at my house on the way. I took him to the Chinook. I had the best calamari of my life! My pork chop was cooked perfectly and the mac and cheese was wonderful! Even the salad and bread were great. My grandson loved his salmon. Jeremiah was extremely nice to us, even though we had no alcohol so tip was less. Best restaurant experience in years!”
