“The waitress was friendly and attentive. Although the restaurant was busy, she was thoughtful with informing us about the timing of the food coming out. The alcoholic drinks tasted good. There are menus for children as well as kids meals on the main menu. The decor was old fashioned and homey. Worth trying.”

“He pretzel and cheese was huge, I liked the fresh veggies added to the cheese. The peach basil freeze... ask for that drink, no basil add strawberry, by far way better! Pictured is the basil version, but after a taste I asked for an update and the bartender gave me her special blend not on the menu. So worth it!”

“Came to town for a Football game with my sons and decided on Pizza. With different ideas of which is good, the three of us decided on the 24" pepperoni. This New York style pie had the right amount of sauce and the crust was delicious. I am surprised I could only eat one slice since my appetite was pretty big. The slices hung over the edge of the plate. Pizza was amazing and is a great breakfast this morning as I write this. Recommend”

“Le Cordon Bleu training, farm raised, and brought to you locally at Super 1 Foods, Athol location. The portions are huge here and even the breads are made in house for a VERY reasonable price, so much so you don't even need a side dish. Massive sandwiches that might trigger a nap. The Loaded Steak, the Calabrian, and the Tonkatsu are my favorites. There is an overall HEARTH to The Golden Fleece's food style. If you want to be fed well and good, and your in the neighborhood... You will never beat these prices, marketing locally to the folk that live and build lives here, a definite solid choice, prices from 10$ and below, will fill your belly, but not empty YOUR wallet. 1-up your hunger at Golden Fleece!”

“Let me just start by saying people are salty because it's a new building when I went into the restaurant it was clean and very rustic I ordered a 21 dollar pizza it was done in 30 min. The place is well designed even the bathrooms had great design they even have a small arcade (three games) now in terms of staff they were so friendly and were very kind. Then when my pizza was done I took a bite and the flavor was explosive the cheese was chewy there was more than enough toppings and unlike iron pizza the crust was crispy but not burned this place was amazing wish I could award more stars but I would absolutely recommend I eat there all the time. They also have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and always have sports on. I love this place Definitely eat here!!!!”
