“Delicious and charming. We found this place on Trip Advisor while driving in the area after a rafting trip in Hells Canyon. It was worth the drive from the highway! Beautifully crafted, fresh, and yummy food from mostly local farms was the reward. Their house-made pastrami featured in the wonderful Reuben, and the composed Market Salad was light with a lovely dressing. The cherry pie was out of this world, as was the coffee milkshake. They make cheeses onsite, and you can buy cheeses, jams, and a variety of wood kitchen tools, quilted gifts, scented soaps, and other items in the room next to the main cafe.”

“It was AMAZING. I haven't had food from a Mongolian BBQ type restaurant for years and this hit all of my cravings! They have very kind staff and great service as well. I'm super satisfied and I will be coming back as often as I can! Also they mean business when the sauce says it's super super spicy, I thought I put too little with less than half a ladle but it was just perfect on my cooked meal and I used so little! A good mild-medium spicy in the end with that amount and a nice mild slow burn that lasts on the tongue. They also serve Coca-Cola products vs Pepsi sodas (I don't care either way but other people might) just as an FYI.”

The daily specials are often creative takes on some classics. Today, we had a really flavorful dessert pizza, a Neapolitan crust lightly spread with custard and topped with blackberries, raspberries and sliced strawberries lightly sprinkled with cinnamon. Every-time we visit the Pullman-Moscow area right at the border of Washington and Idaho, Maialina is a must go to dining experience. “Nectar is one of the best options for fine dining and a good cocktail in Moscow. That being said, for a restaurant that costs ~$100 for two (entrees and a cocktail a piece) I think it leaves a little to be desired. While the featured cocktail menu changes periodically, the appetizer and entree menus have remained pretty much static and a few items are pretty basic. I understand that oven fries, Mac and cheese and a burger may be real appealing to some, but if I'm going to spend $25 on a meal, it's not gonna be a hamburger and potato wedges. The last few times we've visited we have been underwhelmed by the specials or they've been sold out. Nectar has a talented kitchen staff, it would be great to see a little more variety/seasonal rotation on the menu. That being said, the meatloaf is great. I get it every time. We miss Meatloaf Mondays!!!”

“Went in early to avoid the crowds. Our sever brought menus took a drink order rhen was MIA. Had to go to the front desk to let them know we were ready to order. We eventually ordered an appetizer and mains. We waited, expecting our appetizer. Eventually, everything arrived all at once. The food was warm like it had been sitting for a while. The food was tasty despite being just warm. The restaurant was not overly busy so I am not sure where the problem is. Hopefully they can resolve some of these issues. We have eaten here several times and this was a disappointing visit.”

“Visiting from out of town. Arrived about a half hour after they opened. We were seated immediately in a cozy booth. The waiter was very kind, professional, and efficient. Nice hot coffee. Tea was generic from US Foods, but was serviceable. Food came out in short order (pun intended). I wish I got some beignets, but didn't see it on the board until after I ordered. We'll need to come back soon!”
