The perfect hole in the wall bar. This place has a lot of personality, and the owner / bartender is friendly and funny as heck. Food is right in that greasy spoon vein that you're hoping for in a place like this. I will be coming here every time I'm in the area. Don't let the questionable location fool you, it's worth stopping at if you want a beer and delicious food.
Wonderful little local bar, with amazing and humble people. Came here on my reset and stumbled in with only a couple of locals who were very friendly and welcoming. Had a great time playing darts and drinking a couple of IPA's with the locals. Very humbling experience and has great prices on beers. They also have food, but I didn't get to see the menu being enthralled with all the local stories. They have kareoke. Would recommend!
Great little dive bar with food. Small menu, tacos on Tuesday, homemade chili (Larry's recipe) are a few of my highlights. Waitress/cook Faith is always trying to please us everytime we show up. They have a few ipas and domestics on tap. They have darts and karaoke nights, but not sure which days they are. Not fancy at all, but good place for a cold one and small bite.
This is where you go to meet and join the locals for a nice evening out. Faith is a great cook and will go out of her way to make you something special and make you feel at home. Be sure to pet Babe if she comes over to meet you, she's so cuddly! We will be stopping by every time we're in town to work our way through the menu and see what's new on tap.
It was great stopping by this place after a long day of trucking. There isn't much for food on the north side of the river especially after normal business hours. Lightning Horse Bar and Grill was the only place i could find on a Saturday afternoon. Tiffany was such a great bartender and never let me run dry. Larry is a great host, cook and Karaoke jockey too.
The menu had all the diner food greats, portions were perfect and the prices were surprisingly cheap. A chili burger and enough beer to make me sing good Karaoke cost less than $30. I hope Lewiston appreciates this joint. In today's world it's far too rare to find a good down to earth bar like this. Great Karaoke too!
