“The sign says Mel’s Riverdock Restaurant! We drive over an hour from west county St. Louis in order to come have breakfast here! Remember we have to leave by 9:30am because they stop serving breakfast by 11am! We like to order their Ramp special with comes with your choice of meat, made to order eggs, potatoes & your choice of toast or biscuit. I like getting bacon, scrambled eggs, with the American fries (today they were out do we got hash browns) & a biscuit. I get a side of gravy for my biscuit & potatoes! Then we split a short stack of pancakes with blueberry & whipped cream! Honestly we should only get one pancake but we drove over an hour to get there so we splurge! Their pancakes are huge! If you have room for dessert after that try the pie! It’s delicious! It’s right by the river so naturally there is a river dock! It’s been flooded lately so be safe driving out there!”
