“I went to the Literary to hear a poet give a reading from their new collection. The seating is plentiful and varied and the space is divided nicely into cozy areas, reminiscent of living rooms, with book shelves lining most walls. Although I didn't order anything to drink, I read on their website that they sell wine, coffee, other beverages, and food earlier in the day. It's very inviting and I'll be returning with my wife and family.”

The man who takes orders doesn't speak much English but has been very patient with me as I attempt Mandarin. (You can also just point to the items you'd like on the menu! “We went to Lailai Wok last week and the food had improved significantly since the last time we visited. The owner was very nice and told us they have hired a new chef. We ordered some classic szechuanese dishes to try and they were all very good. The portion was big and filling too. We will definitely to go back again soon to try their other dishes!”
