    Best place to go to in Chicago if you got it taste for some real mild sauce on the fries and chicken.

    Of all the Harold's Chicken Shacks in the Southland area the Chicago Heights location is the best. My decision and my individual family members decisions are based on our patronage to all the HCS in the Southland. We pass three other HCS stores that are closer to our home to visit HCS Chicago Heights. When we have a pick up order you answer the phone so our order can be placed. That's the biggest deciding factor. Thanks to all the HCS, but for HCS Chicago Heights in my mind you lead the pack

    The place is cash only. If you want the complete menu you must get there at least 1 hour before closing. Within the last hour they severely limit the menu options. I'm sure this reduces waste but it frustrates customers. I'm a fan of their wings and gizzards, but I enjoy the fish and sides.
